- ditto great idea. --Dinsy 12:04, 10 November 2010 (UTC)
:) Nice, and good idea, but it is too easy we need a little bit more :) Repeatable last missions there are, after mission there are end reward places where u can buy armors weapons as now working. There would be 1 more npc who give you that end game trophies, but not for gold and materials, for fully filled story books.Ladislau
- I like the crafting the trophies, but I'm not fond of the mini or tonics idea (there's too many). -- Konig/talk 03:38, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
- I'm exactly the opposite. I would like to see a mini Glint and GD, but I don't want to have to spend resources on a reward I should have earned just by beating the campaign. Teddy Dan, yo. 06:31, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
This idea is pretty badass. I don't think it should be directly related to Gold or mats though, but instead maybe 5 or 10 completed HM books? It would benefit the Z quests (kinda), and just get people doing missions more. I understand a gold sink to get rid of some of it, but with how wide the wealth gap is, it'd just give the elite-rich more elite rewards while denying it to most others. On the other hand, if it's cheap, then there's nothing special about it. It would be pretty nice having a normal game function to get Minis for HoM though, it gets expensive when you only have 4th years to buy. ~Farlo Talk 06:57, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
- @Teddy: I think it's been explicitly stated, multiple times, that a miniature Glint is not possible due to the number of polygons in Glint - it's too high to shrink down or some such. And the crafting thing is for extra trophies - you get the reward for completing the game, but this suggestion would also allow you to create additional ones.
- @Farlo: 5 or 10 HM books? Are you kidding? Why should someone have to complete the game 5 times in hard mode to get something they could buy for 10k or create a new character and go through the campaign in NM for? At least, 1 NM=1 trophy, 1 HM=2 trophies. Either way, 1 book to get something. However, a better (imo) alternative if you want use out of the zaishen quests would be to add the four trophies as something to get from Jessie Llam. -- Konig/talk 07:17, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
- Didn't know that about Glint, thanks for sharing. I just don't like carrying crafting materials through missions. Personal preference, so just ignore it. Teddy Dan, yo. 07:25, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
- I think I worded that wrong, or was thinking incorrectly about how OP was planning to use the tokens. I was thinking 5-10 books for the miniature/tonic itself. And I don't think we should be using the green token as a currency since you either have to make 10 chars per mini/tonic, or buy them. I'd say, like you suggested, use Zcoins, or implement a new, non-tradable currency (like Zcoins) that can be purchased for a HM book or maybe even the green token, although I think using those would diminish the value and would take away from the effort put into it, and instead just be a money sink. I'm just trying to steer it away from anything purchasable, so it can reflect a good effort (although it is a bit grind-like), not just something else to blow your gold on. ~Farlo Talk 12:33, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
