Change A just maked the skill into a gimped version of shockwave (aka pointless). Change B is alright but the recharge is too long to make it effective compared to other fire elites (why take star burst when mind blast/rodgorts is better?) I'd say up the damage by 20-30 points and cut the recharge + burn durations in half--Four Year Strong 20:25, 14 July 2011 (UTC)
- I can understand your position if you don't play a primary ele. Many fire nuker eles are high in e-storage, though, completely utilizing the additional functions of the spell. 120 dmg and 2-3 seconds of burning is, I feel, decent. Maybe a lowered recharge wouldn't be OP, but I think tying the conditional damage to e-storage would keep this from being abused by sin primaries that just want more PBAoE.
- As for change B, a lowered recharge could be wise, there, too, I agree. I'll lower it from the 15 it's at to 10. I'll lower the burning duration, as well.--Ph03n1x 21:05, 14 July 2011 (UTC)
I'd like to see this skill as pressure skill like Invoke... you need to go melee (or teleport with high recharge), so it's a nice option to buff it with a high damage amount. I personally like the Shockwave suggestion and would increase burning up to 3 sec 'cause of fragility. - The burning duration scales with investment in Estorage - at 0 it gives no burning at all. Or were you talking about going full fire and 3 estorage giving a brief second of burning?--Ph03n1x 22:34, 19 July 2011 (UTC)

- As long as it's a touch spell or PBAoE spell it won't be worth taking nor can it be called a damage version of Healing Burst. Fire Magic trade mark ability is burning and large AoE damage. Keep the damage range at nearby at 15...99...120 and give it burning for 3 seconds with an aditional 1 second for every 2 ranks of Energy Storage. A cost of 15, casting time of 1 and a recharge of 7. That should make it a decent damage version of Healing Burst, but don't go for PBAoE because people will just take Double Dragon and Glyph of Elemental Power and use the more effective non-elites at 20 Fire Magic instead.
