Agreed, this idea has been thrown around alot and tbh i'm surprised it hasn't been implemented yet. Dinsy 06:19, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
- This will make your dervish worse, being dependent to mysticism. I agree that dervishes should be the best at their primary weapon. Maybe 3 seconds each rank or 20 sec recharge.(6 spec mysticism won't disable other builds12) Raja 21:05, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
- Hmm possibly but i tend to run 9 if i go into mysticism and with that being 24 would be fine, tbh the only concern would be that it, with an enchant mod, would last too long and run risk of recasting too soon missing out on the end dmg. Dinsy 11:03, 15 August 2010 (UTC)
- Dervishes are already dependent on Mysticism for HoF, the only decent IAS they have. Even in zealous vow builds, which are literally built around spamming quick activation attacks, HoF adds more to damage than a 4th attack skill, mainly because it affects those quick activation attacks. But even if we ignore that, the removal of the damage conversion (allowing synergy with physical damage buffs) could be seen as a counter buff. Reaper with no name 01:58, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
- You generally don't take an IAS with ZV builds as fast activation time of mystic sweep etc act are enough, though if you still want to there are IAS in wind prayers so there is no need to go into mysticism that case. Dinsy 07:20, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
- Not dependent at all, we are talking about PvE, there are much better alternatives to HoF. Also you can't possibly make an efficient Zealous Vow build using HoF. Anyways, the idea is to make AoHM dervish-only skill, even if it requires 3 points in mysticism it will keep sins, wars, rangers, rits even paragons away.Raja 19:04, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
- You know what makes attacks go faster? IAS skills. Fast activation attacks are nice, but fast activation attacks with an IAS are better. You can easily make an effective ZV/HoF build. Also, there's no reason to let this stack with orders, it adds a lot of damage and effective armor penetration already. -~=Ϛρѧякγ (τѧιк) 19:25, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
- I said efficient, but it won't be so effective either. You will use 3 attributes, which one of them is maxed(scythe). Half up-time HoF and 5 energy ZV, be honest, will you ever run that seriously? Also, faster activation is not so great with same recharges.Raja 19:40, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
- I'm hoping you know how to make attribute spreads and don't just copy others' builds... As far as the suggestion, I like the idea of making every sunspear and allegiance skill tied to their respective primary professions, because the ones that aren't are abused. I'm not sure if you're using "Show preview" or not, but you keep edit conflicting me. :P -~=Ϛρѧякγ (τѧιк) 19:51, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
- Heh, you are not hoping, maybe trolling. Tell me how to spread them then. As for conflict, I'm new to wiki, excuse me for thatRaja 20:01, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
- You really only need 7 Wind Prayers for zealous vow. And by my math, HoF is (oddly enough) better than the other options, because it gives you the opportunity to fit in an extra autoattack while the attack skills are recharging. On a scythe build (where the weapon matters proportionally more than usual in the overall damage), that means a lot. Reaper with no name 03:25, 24 August 2010 (UTC)

- "Half-uptime HoF and 5-Energy ZV"
- That's a bad thing? Half uptime is better than 0 uptime, and what the hell are you going to do with more than
515 energy per attack? — Raine Valen 16:56, 8 Sep 2010 (UTC)
- I think it would be more helpful if you link the duration to scythe mastery (3seconds +1/each rank) and reduce the recarge time 1second for each rank of mysticism. Therefore, used by dervish AoHM is much better because the initial and end effect can be utilized fully but you can still use it as ranger or assassin. --Steps 15:55, 24 September 2010 (UTC)
- My suggestion would be link the +dmg% to mysticism like +1% damage for each allegiance rank and +2% for each rank in Mysticism -- Recharge time is usually a non-issue with Eternal Aura with all secondary dervishes (may need Zealous scythe/Warrior's Endurance/Critical Strikes for energy management, but there is always the option of a BiP hero). +1 ... we need this version now more than ever. Nerfing melee attack strength directly nerfs melees themselves and give them an even worse "rep" among Caster-baased PuGs than before. Change it back! --ilr 22:03, 19 February 2011 (UTC)
