I use vent so often that I mute everything except sound effects all the time, this needs a music mute and a sfx mute tbh. Pika Fan 15:32, 27 November 2009 (UTC)
- I didn't notice the identical suggestion on Feedback:User/Wibblepuppy/Mute button, and I even looked, but somehow missed it. Also, the point of Mute is to turn off everything, or restore to previous setting. Special partial mutes are exactly what's done in the Sound Options, and there's no need for muliple mute buttons imo. If you play on Vent often, just have those settings as your default sound options.

- Isn't the whole point of adding this mute button to provide a shortcut? If you applied your argument back to your proposal, you would realize it counters your suggestion. Pika Fan 16:12, 27 November 2009 (UTC)
- Huh? It's a shortcut to not have to adjust all 5 sound bars every time you need to turn off the sound. Rose Of Kali 17:33, 27 November 2009 (UTC)

(Reset indent) Also, should be able to map hotkeys to the "mute GW" command. This would allow Rose et al to use a macro to mute GW and switch to Skype etc. — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 19:00, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
- Lol, after playing WoW for a few days I really appreciate the "mute GW while in background" option. WoW just won't shut up! :P In general, GW interface is a thousand times better than WoW, I had to download like 7 different mods to get it to be playable, and it still sucks! I'm spoiled by GW. ^_^ But yeah, this would still be nice, especially now that I've started using Vent. Rose Of Kali 16:43, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
