In HM, monsters have an inherent IMS, so Churning Earth will knock them down when it hits whenever they're moving, but with only 5 seconds of DoTAoE, you can only KD for a maximum of 6 seconds, which isn't very long, especially for that casting time. With a 10 seconds duration, you could potentially knocklock for 10 seconds. Any HM monsters in the originally AoE are almost guaranteed to stay there, making other DoTAoEs more viable on Heroes and Henchmen. Also, Warden Eles would probably be slightly nerfed by this update, because the damage is lower per pulse, so you'd have time to avoid more of it just by moving (without IMS, again). Shield of Absorption and Shielding Hands would also be more useful against it. With 15 Earth Magic, you can only gain 50 damage from my suggested change, much more if you use EBSoH. ــѕт.мıкε 11:14, 13 May 2010 (UTC)
I doubt adding knock-locks to the game is such a ood idea (or fun). I'd rather see the casting time go down 1 second and be done with that. 145.94.74.23 07:28, 2 June 2010 (UTC)
