First of all, necromancers have no interrupts, so that half of the skill is pretty odd. Especially since frustration would do as much damage while being on a class that can actually use it. Second, price of failure would overshadow the missed attack part of this skill, since it also does equal damage, and can also self-trigger (when this would require a second skill). And as far as attacks go, SS would still be better, since it triggers on every hit, and 30 damage is already enough to make people stop attacking.

Remove the enchantment loss and keep the damage limited to the target only and balance it's cost,duration and rechargo out on that, then it should be fine mostly. For AoE damage on attacks Spiteful Spirit does that job already. Da Mystic Reaper 21:38, 26 July 2011 (UTC)
You are right about SS, what about this version ? No damage, but enchant removal. Or Maybe something like "each time target takes phys dmg it loses an enchant ?" SuxToBeYou 12:41, 28 July 2011 (UTC)
- Can't say that the necromancer needs more enchantment removal than it already has. If you give it that function it has to rival with Corrupt Enchantment, Pain of Disenchantment and Order of Apostasy. The way it works can be easily avoided in PvP by not getting near allies who have enchantments on them and in PvE it is practicly useless because a simple non-elite enchantment removal like Rip Enchantment or Strip Enchantment is enough. Curses already has plenty of melee hatred and enchantment removal, what it lacks and Depravity offers is casterhate. The idea of an elite Price of Failure is nice but it would be better it it retains it's roll as a casterhate elite. If you really want to keep it as an anti-melee function than make it an adjacent ranged hex (also hexes foes adjacent to target) with 50% miss and 5...29...35 damage on a miss, casting time 2, cost 15 and duration not lasting longer than it's recharge.
