This is actually quite an interesting idea for a new type of arena for pvp. Its relatively balanced assuming your following the current GW2 General PvP methods, and allows for real competitive battles to transpire. I wonder though what happens if team 1 kills two of team 2's players, making team 1 have a 2 character difference between them now. Also withdrawing from a team might be a good thing to put in there. Does the withdrawing player enter into the safe zones? Very interesting indeed, I hope to see it develop more!--Neithan Diniem 03:26, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
- You have a point there with team 1 killing 2 of team 2 players.. I'm guessing, that if any of the players participating in a battle dies, making the teams odd, invites are disabled or something like that, orelse it will just be an everlasting battle, until you pressure the opposing team so much, they don't have time to invite anymore. And yes, I guess people spawning in safe zones is the best idea.--Syncretic 08:51, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
- Well an "out of bounds" location could be made or whatnot, that or a interactable object like a door or flag, that would permit the player to leave the fight (white flag, anyone?).--Neithan Diniem 20:05, 27 August 2010 (UTC)
huh???[edit]
ever heard about scrimmages?, do you actually play gw? i never heard about "karma"--Frozen Ice Prince 11:44, 27 August 2010 (UTC)
- Scrimmages are all "join up, fight, end, repeat".This will be a jump-in style of pvp, same as WvW, where players could join up in the middle of battle and the fight could expand to a very large fight. However, it has restrictions placed on it that make it a whole different experience from WvW. Also, Karma is a key factor of GW2 and acts almost as a form of currency and is an influence on several other game factors. Do you actually read the GW2 developer's blog? I'm just sayin.--Neithan Diniem 20:03, 27 August 2010 (UTC)
