...What? Party heal+Rend rolled into one skill? Is this a joke suggestion? Dark Morphon 15:53, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
- I thought the party heal might be a little OP, but I also thought that all of the other aspects balanced it out. Having to have three enchants on you means you have to either dedicate four slots to you bar for a 90 point party heal or you have to have an enchant-spam team setup (relegating this skill almost entirely to support monks in HA which would probably be carry either /P or rend anyway). Secondly it's got a 2s cast, costs 10 energy and can't be spammed. I dunno, might still be a bit OP but I thought i balanced it out fairly well--TahiriVeila 16:35, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
- It's more the Enchantment removal on Monks that I have a problem with. Dark Morphon 15:10, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
- Why should that be a problem? EVERY other caster profession has at least one enchant removal (except maybe ele, can't remember), why should a profession that has the MOST knowledge of enchantments not be able to remove them? As far as it being game breaking to have monks with enchant removal, i tried to build in quite a few significant drawbacks that mean it'll see limited play and will be just as easy (or even easier) to shut down as all the other enchant removes out there--TahiriVeila 17:10, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
- The thing is not every class should be able to do everything, if you want to remove enchantments with a monk use your secondary class, that's what the system is for. Look at the Dervish, the class doesn't have a KD-Skill for example and as far as i know Elementalists don't have enchantment removal either.

(Reset indent) I'm not saying this is a good suggestion, but it's not thematically insensible. The opinion that "not every class should be able to do everything" doesn't mean monks shouldn't get enchantment removal, at least not one like this which requires self-removal as well... it's like how Dervishes don't really get direct enchantment removal (you can't imagine something like Rip on a Derv), but they do get Winds of Disenchantment, Grenth's Aura etc. Also, remember that a backline monk won't want to use this or they'll lose Channeling as well as a skill slot, which means it could only see use on 3-monk teams, or perhaps teams with an extra monk-like character to make up for the lack in healing resulting from losing a slot on a backliner. I don't think the enchantment removal and party healing really go, mind. 188.74.101.228 18:56, 11 February 2010 (UTC)
- tl;dr: This skill is probably too weak to see use in its current form and as soon as it gets viable, it breaks inter-class dynamics. That's bad. :P Dark Morphon 08:26, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
