I love the idea. It makes it somewhat risky to run an ele, becuase anyone probably a monk or a mesmer though can beef up their energy and bring an ele down some. It allows for Heal Party monks to exist in an interesting way without GoLE. Big issues I see are eles running the skill and sapping backliners, allowance for essense diversion combo, and comboing with ether lord. So the suggestion would have to be making it elite as well, to limit these problems. ~>Sins WDB 15:54, 22 October 2009 (UTC)

I doubt monks would run it since you pretty much need to use this on an ele to gain energy back, even then if the ele was low on energy you just wasted your best chance to get some juice back... i can see this being used on your 2nd combo which will cause backlines to be at instant half energy which would be troublesome - edited to make it max 10 energy, and increased recharge to 30-Talamare- feedback 17:24, 22 October 2009 (UTC)

This would be extremely powerful with a high set when a Monk is running out of Energy. It could effectively drain an Elementalist while giving back a significant amount of Energy. Dunno. Morphy 14:35, 12 March 2010 (UTC)

To be fair, Talamare has worded it very inspecifically and it looks like you can only lose 10 but gain up to half the maximum, where I believe that both restrictions are supposed to apply in both cases. Misery 14:42, 12 March 2010 (UTC)

I could see removing that 'max 10' clause and making the skill elite. That'd keep it from being just thrown in on random builds for serendipitous energy management/pressure and instead see play on specialized builds (where it belongs) as well as give Mesmers their lost elite back.--Ph03n1x 04:47, 10 October 2010 (UTC)
