Functionality vs Aesthetics?[edit]
/signed: So your proposal is to emphasis player functionality over the current versions' aeshetics? I do wish more outposts followed Imperial Isle/Isle of Meditation's simplistic layout. EB still has too much untapped potential as the ultimate one-stop-port alternative to GH's; and Kamadan is -still- called Spamadan. ^_^ --Falconeye 02:42, 23 November 2011 (UTC)
- Aesthetics should never trump playability. In this case, however, it's a case of form following function: the current layout emphasizes campaigns, which forces unnecessary wandering around and which ANet knows was wrong because they attempted to resolve it with unnecessary redundancies. My suggested layout (among others) emphasizes functionality, but still allows the island to be fully utilized. – Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 13:22, 23 November 2011 (UTC)
- Lorazcyk has posted feedback relative to this, if your interested. ^_^ --Falconeye 04:11, 2 December 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks, I would have missed that. I like his idea for where to place the travel toons (on the boat) — better than my idea. – Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 05:10, 2 December 2011 (UTC)
