- Well, I have a page that pretty much says "balance every hex" as well. Which one do you think Anet would be more likely to do? -- Tha Reckoning 07:21, 21 April 2010 (UTC)
- They should start with nerfing overpowered skills, not buffing underpowered skills (some of which only look underpowered because of all of the overpowered skills). King Neoterikos 07:27, 21 April 2010 (UTC)
This invalidates good Domination Magic Hexes and Hex snares in general. Morphy 11:23, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
- The dom hexes I'm thinking of that are not overpowered are up in 6s, so by the time you realize you're under it and get it off, you haven't saved that much time anyway, it's probably already done the damage it's going to do. As for snares etc, yeah, that's a problem. -- Tha Reckoning 12:07, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
- Having to wait 2 or 3 seconds before casting is a lot less threatening than having to wait 6 seconds. You can't just sweep that under the table. Morphy 13:30, 2 June 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, tbh I don't know of a skill balancing way to fix hexes, other than making them all active, for example six seconds being a long duration. Either that, or a 3 hex cap on a person, but that has it's problems too. I think you'd just have to go through and tone down all the shittery hexes there are, which would take ages. -- Tha Reckoning 18:32, 2 June 2010 (UTC)
- Another option is to change a couple of Hexes into non-Hex skills with a similar function, such as what has been done with Weaken Armor. Morphy 18:50, 2 June 2010 (UTC)
- Which hexes did you have in mind? -- Tha Reckoning 18:53, 2 June 2010 (UTC)
- Well, Backfire could easily be changed to an interrupt, to name one. Of course, some skills will have to stay a Hex. Reckless Haste for example leaves very little to the imagination. Morphy 19:21, 2 June 2010 (UTC)
- I'd like to see the punishment hexes changed, and the completely retarded ones like LC. -- Tha Reckoning 19:37, 2 June 2010 (UTC)
