Feedback talk:User/Tha Reckoning/Wounding Strike
Not saying WS doesn't need a nerf or change. Just saying Eviscerate is useless because people realized how insignificant the extra 30+ damage is when there is Dismember for deep wound. People have also realized utility is more important than raw damage. That's why you see Whirling Axe, Coward, or even "You're All Alone!" in place of eviscerate. Changing wounding strike make people's mentality change so Eviscerate's won't increase it's use any significant amount.~>Sins WDB 14:26, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
Where is the suggestion? Ɲoɕʈɋɽɕɧ 14:48, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
- @ Sins, if that is true, then why did Evis only fall out of favor after WS was tweaked? @ Noctarch, read again, it's at the end. -- Tha Reckoning 21:30, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
- Because the thought process of something working better than Eviscerate was started once the WS change happened. Since that mentality started, we've had WE and Whirling axe changes, but the other two I mentioned have always been there. Once people started realizing even more utility on a warrior was important too Eviscerate fell to the wayside, as it's only utility could be achieved through dismember and the crip slash gash chain. Eviscerate will never see as much use as it did in its current state with dismember and so many better utility elites.~>Sins WDB 22:20, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
- True, but I'm just using Evis for a point around which to balance. -- Tha Reckoning 23:14, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
- It's too vague to be of any use. Ɲoɕʈɋɽɕɧ 10:36, 22 September 2009 (UTC)
- How? I said it needs a 15s recharge, and to lose the cover condition, in what way is that vague? -- Tha Reckoning 00:16, 11 October 2009 (UTC)

- I was lazy and forgetful (but hey, what's new). I meant to add a Conjure of choice to that bar. When you compare Wounding Strike to Eviscerate, WS is crap. It has no +dmg. BlazeRick 09:35, 23 September 2009 (UTC)

Spike skill of choice is...[edit]
Dismember. Everything else does enough damage that the +20 on evisc isn't necessary to kill things on spikes.
No one uses WS because no one uses dervishes; warriors are OP. is for Raine, etc. 12:23, 1 October 2009 (UTC)

- Gimmicks and scrubs still use Dervishes more often than Warriors. But yeah, they're easily dealt with these days. People have become accustomed to them. Complaining about WS is so 2007. BlazeRick 14:29, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
