Feedback talk:User/Weindrasi/After Seeing Beta: The Human Female Options are HIDEOUS
OK, first and most importantly, fix your post with more polite text if you please. Second - i agree with you for the female human - they definitely point to little girls(most of the models point at 20 or less year old girls and just some over it up to 27), in the templates its needed something more mature(up to 40 years like in the male versions). I just hope its like Aion's system(1 face model with different face settings and many default settings(faces)) - so we can recreate the young girls to more mature ones, but still mature default settings is needed. As for the norn its too late for such kind of suggestion, to make them less human looking, but still state what exactly what you mean, so if its good Anet can consider it in the expansions.Scourge_213 19:49, 2 March 2012 (UTC)
I don't have NEARLY as strong an opinion as the OP, but I would like more options. Men can be pretty grizzled and characterful, right now, but many of the female human options look pretty samey to me right now: there's an extremely strong focus on "pretty", rounded, symmetrical faces. Which is probably where he gets the "they're all children!" idea (they're not, and there's one male face that looks about [anime-]twelve to me [younger looking and larger-featured than real twelve!], but he doesn't mention that). ...Also, most of them are wearing significant amounts of makeup, which I find uncomfortable both in real life and on my characters.
Agree with OP, though the norn have this issue too it's not as severe. As for language, it's needed... A friend was watching the character creation process and looking through the faces they got no less than 4 "Lol, paedophile" comments, it took a fair bit to not report this as a massive "bug" (nobody sane would actually call looking like a big breasted 12 year old a "feature"). As for male faces, yes there's one or two that look too young but compared to female where there are 1 or 2 that don't look overly young that's a minor inconvenience/design choice.
