Article header[edit]
Armor art infobox[edit]
The armor art infobox should generally always be put at the top of the armor article. Here you specify what campaign and profession the armor is for. More extensive usage notes for the template can be found on the template page
Description[edit]
Put a short description of the armor right below the infobox, avoid unnecessary whitespace above this text. There is no need for a header.
These things should be included in the description where applicable:
- Bolded armor name (article name) with a link to the corresponding armor art index (i. e Luxon armor)
- What campaign the armor was originally introduced in
- Where the armor is available as collector armor
- If there are any special notes about the usage, for example if it's a mask that's only available with a specific attribute bonus
- What the standard/prestige version of the armor is called, with a link.
Mid-section[edit]
Crafting and collecting[edit]
List crafting and collecting information in campaign release order, meaning Prophecies first and Eye of the North last. List crafting information before collecting information.
The crafter table is put in code directly on the page, but collector information is transcluded instead by using
The basic code for making the tables can be found in the example. Replace campaign and profession names with correct ones and also replace the example xxx
with the appropriate profession color template.
[edit]
[edit]
Include the armor navigation for the profession after the crafter and collector information. The armor nagivation templates are named Monk armor nav and similarly.
Categories[edit]
- Always include the profession armor category with a armor type sort key, for example:
- Include the category/ies for the campaign/s the armor is available in, i. e.
- If the armor belongs to a armor art type, include that category. (I. e. )
- If the armor art is used as standard PvP Equipment (not including things bought by Tournament Reward Tokens), include
- If the armor can be collected, include the profession collector category. ()
The collecting subpage will have a category corresponding to the profession with an appropriate sort key, for example . Don't forget the noinclude tags, as they are there to avoid double categorization for the pages the collector table is included in.
Notes[edit]
- The bold quotations should only be used on the max armor on the armor art article.
