Sound Of A Distant Star [Star]

This guild use to be exclusive to two members and occasionaly a few friends. It's been created by two lovers who enjoy to play together. As time passed, friends joined the guild and stars growed up a little. Only the dearests and the bests of all could pretend to be stars among the stars.

After many dramas and many months away from the guild, the two main actors of this guild are back. No one else may join this guild at this time.

History

Beginning

The guild was originally created by Liu Lei Ling in concert with Vaylen Blair after they both left their previous guild, the Shadow Of The Dawn [Dark]. They wished to have a haven of peace, a fortress for their love in a world sometimes too cruel. In this place they could do and say whatever they want and concentrate their energy on building their castle. After a while, Liu Lei Ling gave her power of decision to Tyra, her sister. She could not assume the role of guild leader anymore neither than being Vaylen’s lover. She wanted to devote her life to her goddess Dwayna. Liu Lei Ling broke Vaylen’s heart but time made its work and a new love started to grow: Tyra’s and Vaylen’s love.

First alliance

Soon after its creation Vaylen expressed the wish to become the ally of a friend’s guild, the New Kryta Luxon Order, ruled by Ella Of Kryta which allied them to the Luxon people in the same time. The alliance suffered few changes during its history. Eventually, they allied to small groups of young rebels who expressed with some members of the New Kryta Luxon Order the desire to join the Kurzick’s faction. The alliance leader, Ella, didn’t really enjoyed this decision and they broke up quickly with those rebels and left the Kurzicks to get back with the Luxon forces. Later on, the alliance suffered more changes. Breaking with NKLO a few times, the two guilds finally found a relative peace under the banner of the Kurzicks with Sound Of A Distant Star as a leader. In the same period the caslte also allied to new castles and the alliance continued to grow over the years.

Recruits

The refuge of peace for the family wasn’t enough for Tyra though. Her husband and her were busy each of them on their side and they could not be always together. For this reason, Tyra asked her husband to hire personel for the castle. Once the castle became self-sufficient Tyra decided to recruit novices and train them during her free time. She thought Vaylen could do the same on his side, but a broken harmony on the island resulted of it and so they decided to sent away the recruits. They needed time together again and it was the only solution. Outsiders were not the answer to their problems.

Golden age

After these dark times, the couple started to live happy again. The family grew a lot more and Tyra gave birth to children. Their castle also grew in wealth and talents and their occupants started to develop new aptitudes. They could now go and do anything. They needed no one else except themselves. They could run anywhere and fight anyone. They could have been famous but they preferred to hide from glory. Only their family was important to them and this forever.

Mercenaries

After many months of absence from Ella, the guild decided to break the alliance and join Break The [Ice] where they worked as mercenaries. This alliance, pretended to be Luxon, but was in fact an undercover organization for a branch of the Kurzick faction named International Commando Elite [Ice] lead by Daedra Des Reves.

For many months Tyra and Vaylen were the only ones in the guild with their family and so they had to offer their services as mercenaries to their allies to help them lead battles in the Underworld and in the Fissure of Woe. Those battles took place everyday and there was no rest. They went everywhere and did everything and became known for the skills of their assassins. After a while many braves from this alliance died or disapeared which caused the undercover alliance to become almost empty. Even the main alliance slowly went silent.

After story

At this point only a few long time friends remains in this alliance, but a Star always shines bright and the family stay strong.

Intendance

Leaders

Tyra Blair and Vaylen Blair are the original leaders of the guild and still are nowadays. They altern leadership every month or so.

Tyra is also known as Lady Minuit from her user page, Mystryl Ithal Innen for her main and Liu Lei Ling in the story. She also has many other alternative characters.

Vaylen Blair from the story is more know as his main Eve Bailey from is running days to Droknar's Forge. He also has many other alternative characters.

Name

Sound Of A Distant Star refers to a short Japanese animation, which is a story about two lovers divide by time and space. This is related to our own real story: two lovers divide by time difference and oceans.

Cape

The golden star of the cape is a direct reference to the origin of the guild and its name. It also reminds to its member that they are just like stars and together they are a constellation in the immense dark space. Alone a star can barely be noticed among the others, but together their bright light can shine and impose themselves. They also name themselves “Stars”.

Hall

The Castle is build on a peaceful island surrounded by Kryta’s ocean which divide the far Cantha and the Tyria. The castle itself is Asian inspiration and surrounded by fruit trees and wild flowers. The castle town is modest but inviting along the coast. The locals particulary enjoy to live in a so peaceful place where the balance between work and rest is so well established.
