The Space Rangers guild formed in June of 2005 by two players from Australia. In a matter of only six months it had grown into a very active, primarily PvE focused guild of near maximum size. While SR was formed by Australian players, through recruitment and relation it became a guild of mostly North American members. In December of 2005 the leadership was transferred to Clobimon Craiggy and he continues at that position to this day.
Since that time we have continued to maintain strong activity and numbers. Our goal is to always have a good time. With almost every member having multiple characters there is always someone that needs the same mission or would like to work on titles together. The officers and many members of SR have been playing GW together for quite some time, so we take pride in being able to help newcomers to the game as well as the fresh members in the guild.
The Space Ranger Oath
The Oath of the Space Rangers (formerly known as the guild’s Codes & Guidelines) provides guidelines on standards of behaviour as a member.
- I will not use foul or inappropriate language
- I will not be racist, sexist or make abusive and/or derogatory comments
- I will not spam the guild or alliance chat
- I will not ridicule or abuse my opponent, nor my fellow Guildees
- When faced with taunts from an opponent, I will retaliate with skill and not abuse
- I will not abuse the benefits provided by The Guild (including the Guild Bank and the Forum)
- I will be patient with my fellow guildees and realize that his/her time is as valuable as my own
- I will respect my SR brothers and sisters at all times, regardless of disagreements
- I will not participate in exploits or any activity that violates the EULA of GW
These simple rules are designed to help us, and those we play with, to enjoy and benefit from The Game. Members who do not abide by these guidelines may be subject to disciplinary action, resulting in possible removal from the member roster.
