Whispers of Acoma was formed in 2006 after, first Brotherhood of Kai and then Legends of Acoma were disbanded. (Before these disbanded they were ranked 3rd in the world, at the start of the first World Tournament) I formed [WoA] to keep alive the Acoma name on Guild Wars and so that all my then friends could have a place where they could meet for any style of play they wished. Most of the previous Acoma members went on to join Crossing Tyria [CT] (as I did myself on another account) and [WoA] took on members from Tir Na Fragi [TnF] (Disbanded) and eventually they too stopped playing. I have kept the Guild alive so that I can enjoy the game the way I want to play. We plan to remain active in the lead up to Guild Wars 2 and beyond.
Now that Guild Wars 2 is in Open Beta and has already had two Beta Weekend Events I can say for certain that Whispers of Acoma will be reborn in GW2. So if you are still playing GW1 and are looking to make new friends and get in with a team that will carry over, this is the place for you.

Recruitment is open with no restriction on level or style of play, though we would ask that you be interested in PvE, as that is our preferred style of play. Though we don't say no to PvPers =)
