I think that LordBiro is an awesome Bureaucrat and a role model for all users on the wiki, a poster-boy for the wiki if you will. His contributions have made the wiki what it is today and he should be allowed to continue on pushing the wiki forward. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Scourge .

Candidate statement

I feel a bit awkward writing this, especially since most of you know me better than I can convey in a statement. I will try anyway though, although I apologise for keeping it so short!

I think diplomacy is very important for all users on a wiki. Being able to diffuse arguments, rather than fuel them, is crucial. I aim to be as reasonable as possible during discussions, and will gladly step in to try and calm arguments where possible.

I try to be approachable and as un-intimidating as I can be; I would hate to think that someone was unwilling to argue with me because of my status or position! Sometimes arguments lead to constructive discussions :)

I try to stay open-minded, objective and fair when making decisions, and I hope that I succeed most of the time! I try to look at all events objectively, and understand other people's suggestions and motivations before judging them.

When I do make a decision I explain my reasoning and try to be as clear as possible.

I'm a strong believer in decision making by consensus, and I try to promote healthy discussion wherever I can on the wiki.

I have a lot of faith in our sysop team, and I think the current RfA policy will strengthen that team even further.

Well... I don't know what to else say. So... vote for me if you want!
