- The following line needs to be added to/modified in LocalSettings.php
$wgCUDMaxAge = 12 * 30 * 24 * 3600; // 12 months- Reason for the request
- The extension helps to identify users and especially sock accounts to solve conflicts with policies and block evasions. At the current time period of 3 months, not enough data is being retained.
- What else uses it
- The CheckUser extension is used on a lot different wikis, including the whole WikiMedia farm.
