I think it would be great if anyone could see a character with i.e. necromancer profane armor with necromancer tyrian tunic. Don't know if it's possible, but it would be great

You can use paint if you wanna see that, just copy both armors and clip out the parts u want and put it together however u like it. --Cursed Angel talk 15:51, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
Someone needs to make a program like that though. That way you can just mix them around and come up with good combinations.--Fallen 02:19, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
Woudln't be too hard to program up, but you can't distribute it due to the EULA as an executionable. Java applets would work, but thats not wiki friendly. Floating <div> would probably work though using translucent PNGs. However, I want a giraffes head with donkey body, hippo legs and the feet of an ostrich. Veldrik 04:15, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

Don't suppose adding support for comparing hero armor is possible, is it? Or if its already there, better documentation on how to use that. Also, profession independent armor (GWEN headgear)? Lintor 19:29, 19 December 2007 (UTC)

Good ideas :) I'll see how to work it in. -- ab.er.rant sig 15:35, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
Not too sure about hero armor now that I think about it... maybe I'll add individual armor galleries to each hero instead. No point previewing when there's just three for each hero. Working on something. In the meantime, you might be interested in Guild Wars Wiki:Projects/NPC models/Heroes. As for headgear... either we need a lot more headgear images or we wait for the renders.

Necromancer Deldimore armor female doesn't work. Necromancer, Dervish, and Paragon armor are referenced by Dwarven rather than Deldimore. Lintor 21:21, 28 December 2007 (UTC)

Dwarven armor isn't a set, so it doesn't work because the pieces are named differently. -- ab.er.rant sig 13:20, 29 December 2007 (UTC)

What happened to the art page? I used to come here all the time to look at armor :(.Miss Innocent 22:44, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

I'm not sure what you're talking about... if you are asking how to use the armor art comparison utility, read the section under "Usage". If you're just looking to browse armor images, try armor art instead. -- ab.er.rant User Ab.er.rant Sig.png 03:38, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

Just something I've noticed: when you try to compare an EotN armor art with the rest, it comes out about 75% the size of the other pictures... Resizing doesn't help or mitigate the problem: they're jsut constantly smaller... any ideas why? --Timeoffire45 13:55, 19 June 2008 (UTC)

It's due to the width of uploaded EotN armor pics. They're just consistently about 150 pixels wider, so scaling them by width makes them smaller. I suppose the images could be cropped and re-uploaded again. -- ab.er.rant User Ab.er.rant Sig.png 10:05, 20 June 2008 (UTC)

This is a wonderful tool! I've used it several times for warrior elite armor. It really helps when the images are side-by-side (as opposed to clicking the back and forward buttons :P). Keep up the great work!--Zal 16:15, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

Thank you :) -- ab.er.rant User Ab.er.rant Sig.png 02:26, 7 August 2008 (UTC)

Great work Aber, just as expected from the likes of you :) I really appreciated this tool when choosing which armor for my newest warrior. --Stokoe Talk 23:58, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

Thanks :) Glad you found it useful. -- ab.er.rant User Ab.er.rant Sig.png 14:21, 27 October 2008 (UTC)

Can someone change it back. I accidentally hit the save button... 97.101.203.5 03:42, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

Fixed it, lol. Sry about that. 97.101.203.5 03:45, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

Is it also possible to see the armors in different colours? For example you can compare the Red Krytan with a Blue Krytan. That would be very helpful when picking a new dye for your armor. (Quentin 23:45, 27 December 2008 (UTC))

Nope, sorry. Tee images are armor art renders provided by ArenaNet in mostly their default colors. You'll have to dig around forums and look for armor dye charts. To start you off, you can try clicking on the links in my "Links" section on my user page. -- ab.er.rant User Ab.er.rant Sig.png 16:14, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
