Guild Wars Wiki talk:Document the game and shut up about everything else
I'd support this if it were a guideline and written less aggressively. (yah, I know it's sort of a joke but I'm not joking) -- (gem / talk) 23:59, 10 November 2007 (UTC)

- Whilst as it is, it is nothing but inflammatory, the base idea holds true, we often get bogged down in arguments over trivial things. --Lemming 00:03, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
- Maybe it will be more mature if we replace the rude words with politically correct statements? - IronHeart 00:03, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

I'm unienaule and I support this message. Unienaule 00:09, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, totally signed. The whole point of GWW is to document the game, not to argue about anything else. Maybe do something like on Wikipedia where if there are comments on the talk page which don't help the article, then it's removed. — ク Eloc 貢 01:40, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

Yes, I encourage you all to shut the fuck up and do what I say, because I'll grow some balls and delete all your pages otherwise, so you can whine about it on myspace. Ahh shit, got to jump in a lake now ... --Xeeron 03:00, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
- Precisely. Now if we can get all the hypersensitive users to do that, this wiki will be fixed. -Auron 03:07, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
- Guild Wars Wiki:No Discussion. Problem solved. Lord Belar 03:08, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

- On this wiki? Yeah, right. Oh, damn, I just violated Guild Wars Wiki:No Sarcasm. Lord Belar 19:42, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
Some companies have started implementing a "no email use on Wednesday" policy (I have no idea how they do it, but some claim to do it). We should have the same here ... on Wednesdays, no posts to talk pages or anything in the GWW namespace - violators are banned until the end of the day! :-)
Okay, maybe strike that last part. --- Barek (talk • contribs) - 01:13, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
- But not using talk pages on a certain day would make it an easy day for vandals to vandalize as you can't use GWW:NOTICE. — ク Eloc 貢 03:09, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
- *sigh* - wasn't an entirely serious suggestion ... hard to convey humour when you can't hear tone of voice. :-( --- Barek (talk • contribs) - 03:37, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
- Would you be violating Guild Wars Wiki:No Sarcasm there Barek? :P — ク Eloc 貢 03:44, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
- hmmm ... now I need a dictionary ... I'm not sure that was up to the standards of true sarcasm. I actually support the concept, just fail to see how to implement it effectively - even as a guideline it would be conceptual and ignored by many. It's more of a conceptual essay. --- Barek (talk • contribs) - 03:52, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
- I also like the concept but I am unsure if it can be implemented effectively in any way. Fall 04:02, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
- I also think *Avoid non-wiki/guild wars related discussion. Would be a good addition to the policy. Fall 04:05, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
- I think a no-User:Fall addition would be good. — Skuld 08:30, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
