How would becoming a Bureaucrat help you advance to Sysop? You don't become a Sysop just because you were a Bcrat unless you were a Sysop first. You still have to go through the RfA process to become a Sysop at the end of your term. -- Wyn 20:49, 14 October 2008 (UTC)

Misunderstanding

A bureaucrat is neither a dictator nor a judge-and-jury package, so it won't help with whatever you aim to do unless you intend to abuse its power; in which case, you'll find yourself denied from becoming one.

Some asking around would have found you the proper way to resolve user issues, such as GWW:RFA#Reconfirmation if you feel that a sysop has consistently acted inappropriately; or GWW:ARBCOMM if there is a user conflict issue you cannot resolve. If you already knew about those pages, yet did not try them, then I suppose you feel that the entire group of admins is corrupt.
