It's not too late

In short, because I am capable. Though some of my on-wiki conversations may not indicate it, I am capable of remaining civil and calm when it is required of me. I make rational decisions and I believe I can effectively evaluate the community's opinion on matters like RfAs. I can recognize when I may be too personally involved in a situation to act impartially, and I would not hesitate to recuse myself in these situations and rely on Poke's or Rainith's judgment.

In addition, though I check the wiki multiple times per day I am mostly inactive as a sysop, so there should be no concerns about losing me as an active member of the sysop team.

However, I doubt you'll find any qualifications that make me much different a candidate than say Pling. Not really sure this is what you were looking for, though, and if it's not, follow-up and I'll do my best to answer. – Emmett 06:02, 23 June 2011 (UTC)

I was looking for whatever you thought we should know to help evaluate your qualifications. (Sometimes, that tells us more than reading answers to direct questions.)
