Unable to install at this time[edit]
I'm sorry about the delay on this update, but I've just received word from the IT team that they will not be able to install these updates at this time. I've been told that the ConfirmEdit extension is unable to inject a CAPTCHA after failed logins with the current release of MediaWiki. They are guessing that this will work with the new 1.11 release of the software, but we are hesitant to upgrade this wiki to the development version of MediaWiki. Therefore, we are going to hold on installing this update until the new, stable version of MediaWiki 1.11 comes out (which should be soon anyways).
I'll keep a close eye on things, and as soon as we upgrade the wiki to 1.11, I'll talk with IT again about getting these CAPTCHA improvements pushed forward :) -- Emily Diehl (talk) 16:51, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
- As of 10 September 2007, MediaWiki 1.11.0 has been released as a Stable release. --

Upgrade to 1.11[edit]
