"I came to this beaten shore, what is it...over nine seasons ago. The Triforge were renewing their guild, renaming it and looking for members. Since then, I've charted this land so many times that, late at night, the Thirsty River still penetrates my dreams.

Friends have come, friends have gone, good friends, friends worthy of a Res Signet. I even met a special gal while plotting this land: a ranger from Ascalon who works as a henchman. I'd like to settle down and start a family with her someday. Alas, if only we could live forever. But I digress.

• The first two sentences in his dialogue are references to the first time when Guild Wars was announced in 2003 and the original name of ArenaNet. Also "a ranger from Ascalon who works as a henchmen" is possibly referring to Reyna.
