The notes seem like a pretty good guide to me :-)

NM is fairly easy - I just took the activated Form down in NM using my regular D/N survivor build based on Deep Wound / Necrosis spam.

In HM, all the Avatars can be killed with normal builds by using the same sacrificial gambit: lure the Avatar, and run away, leaving it to fight spirits, a flagged hero, whatever. Wait 60 seconds, and kill it when the form wears off.Hollowboy 01:20, 5 July 2009 (UTC)

Useless Note

I'm deleting the note about a degen/SS necromancer beeing useful to take her down. Degeneation mostrly sucks in PVE and hexes are one of the worst things to use against a desvish with Avatar of Dwayna. In adition, SS is not more useful against this boss than against any other dervish, warrior, ranger... with zonal attacks (scythe attacks, whirlwind, cyclone axe, barrage...) so the note lacks of sense.
