Bow Type

It looks as though Aidan is using an Ivory Bow, which according to its page, is a hornbow. Is he the only ranger that uses a hornbow instead of a longbow? Or is this ivory bow a longbow in disguise? -- Wandering Traveler 05:03, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

well in eye of the north, Aidan definitely uses a hornbow as his barrage takes much longer than 2 seconds to "activate" 96.13.32.182 22:41, 11 June 2009 (UTC)

Skills?

Anyone else think he needs a total skill change? I vote an Expert's Dexterity build with Focused Shot and Read the Wind for Eye of the North. Make him much more sniper, much less horrible barrager. For Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall I say a Kindle Arrows+Incendiary Arrows build, which is basically switching his elite for something more useful. That would make him more "survivor" which is the big word describing him, and much more "fiery" which is the meaning of his name.72.161.115.13 17:45, 25 February 2009 (UTC)

Go Aidan

I like aidan, he has something so "pre" going on, also as a character. Hes like that quiet contributor who nobody notices, always level headed and never loud or unthoughtful. Deffo my fave henchy character wise. Shogun 02:53, 26 April 2009 (UTC)

Oct/8/09 Prophecies update

Yaaay, he doesn't totally suck anymore! Infact he probably puts out some good AoE DPS now if ya put down a FW & Winnow spirit near him ...he's still laggin behind the other henchmen on spike damage but he should be sturdier now atleast. PS: Since he doesn't have any attacks that bypass blocking... Lightning Reflexes or Serpent's Quickness probably would have been a much better choice for DPS than spamming Determined Shot is. --ilr 23:26, 22 October 2009 (UTC)

Spawning

During the quest Stone Summit Beastmasters I was surprised to see that Aidan had spawned around the curve in the trail past Thorgrim Beastlasher. He seemed to be in a mob of Snow Ettin and died fairly quickly after I spotted him. Anyone have a guess on why he's there? - SeaGlass 01:56, 23 August 2010 (UTC)

I missed that - his location strikes me as odd though, as he is farther along the trail than the boss that you kill to complete the quest. - SeaGlass 05:03, 23 August 2010 (UTC)

Multiple prophecies quests has the main GW group (devona, cynn, mhenlo, aidan - eve should be part of it, but she isn't around with the group before the Southern Shiverpeaks) hidden in it - not necessarily along the path, but in the area(s) that take place. -- Konig/talk 05:21, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
