I'm noticing something when using this weapon. It seems to scale with both Marksmanship and Spawning Power, and it needs equal points in both attribute lines to scale as a regular bow does with just Marksmanship. This means that at 12 Spawning Power and Marksmanship, the new bow deals the same damage as a regular bow with only 12 Marksmanship. At 12 in either Marksmanship or Spawning Power but not both, it does significantly less damage than a regular bow, even less then I can wand for. All of this was tested against the 60 AR dummy in GToB. Soldier198 (talk) 19:19, 22 April 2020 (UTC)

That's a shame, I assume the Staff works properly (and I wouldn't know how to test it) but I'm going to test the sword and axe to see if they work the same way. 213.249.223.66 08:13, 23 April 2020 (UTC)

I think it is rather because of the damage calculation algorithm, as weapon mastery attributes contribute to its corresponding weapon damage via the so called "Strike Level", see Damage calculation. Azura (talk) 09:42, 23 April 2020 (UTC)

These martial casting attribute weapons are like you actually meeting req of a weapon so no half damage but also monsters having like +60 armor rating vs those weapons. As each point into a martial attribute gives -5ar effectively vs foes upto rank 12 for -60ar. Above rank 12 it continues but with diminishing returns. Now dervish mysticism staff will actually do full damage as spells and staves and wands all are based on your characters level at -3ar / level upto level 20 for -60ar. I say upto 20 but it actually continues passed that for foes and is why level 30 elementalists crush players. Justice (talk) 19:39, 23 April 2020 (UTC)
