Pet Impovement

Maybe a Question for Schrödinger's Cat

Thinking about buying some of these, and wondering. The description reads: Armor +10 (while your pet is alive). But it doesn't state that your pet needs to be with you? I couldn't find any definition for Alive (or Dead for that matter); the only thing similar was a note under Strike as One that says, "You must have your animal companion with you and alive to use this skill.". Now common sense would dictate…, but this is a game. So, does the Game consider your pet non-alive if it's not with you? --Nonsuch 02:51, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
