Worst elite in the game

The skill's main benefit comes in its synergy with the rest of the bar, most notibly the Echoes with their "...whenever a shout or chant ends on that ally". With this build you have a quick way of triggering skills like Aggressive Refrain, Mending Refrain and Finale of Restoration for as long as the paragon can maintain adrenaline. A paragon with a spear gains 4 adrenaline every 6 seconds without being attacked. With Aggressive Refrain that's down to 4.5 seconds. If the Paragon's being attacked that's even less. That's a steady party heal every 3-5 seconds for no energy cost. HollyGen 23:10, 31 October 2009 (UTC)

Also, it gives one energy regeneration, not one energy, and is nearly maintainable as long as the paragon can build adrenaline. It's really very useful once you've tried it. ~ Chao 21:24, 9 November 2009 (UTC)

And it gives the paragon using it even more energy for spamming good spear attacks like harriers toss, vicious attack, etc. Basically the same sort of energy as the old GftE/WY. 83.131.32.43 22:01, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
