Talk:Blessing of the Kurzicks
Notes[edit]
Not sure if it'd be worth noting on here or not (since its in the Luxon/Kurzick Priest page), but it will cost 100g to get the blessing from the priest that is of the same faction as you, and it will cost 150g to gain the blessing of the opposing faction (50g for a bribe, and 100g for the blessing itself. Note, that when you bribe an opposing priest, you gain that factions blessing regardless of your location(Luxon priest in the forest, kurzick priest in the sea; This is done due to the ever changing faction line). So just because you are in the Echovald Forest, does not mean you will gain the Kurzick blessing when you bribe the luxon priest. 68.104.205.160 05:59, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
- I can confirm this.. to my demise.. started vanquishing Eternal Grove on the Vanquishing weekend for massive points, and its owned by a Luxon alliance.. so no massive points there.. Kurzick anyways.Sloh Em Oshun 05:43, 30 May 2009 (UTC)
- This actually deals more with the Kurzick Priest and Luxon Priest, as that 50g also gives access to the Merchant that is there, and activates the Resurrection Shrine. Also, it's no so much "opposing faction" but the same as other services, if you have more luxon, you need to pay kurzicks 50g for their services, and vice versa. Your faction (i.e., alliance) doesn't matter, just what you have. If you did both befriending quests and have 0 faction on both sides, you can talk to both at first *you gain 50 faction if you bribe*. -- Azazel The Assassin\talk 06:01, 30 May 2009 (UTC)
- Be Aware you can buy the Blessing multiple times on the same character, and you will not get additional benefit.. Make sure you only attempt to obtain the Blessing ONCE (as an accidental miss-click will cost you 100gp)86.17.72.80 19:40, 8 June 2011 (UTC)

Faction always?[edit]
Does anyone remember if you could use this to get faction right from the start of Factions or whether that feature was added later? --Xeeron 15:34, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
- This was added with the PvE skills. The blessing just provided health and regen before, iirc. - anja 15:36, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
- Thx. I felt quite stupid for never having used this while bringing 4 characters through Factions, but that was before NF came out. =) --Xeeron 15:42, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
Anomaly or what?[edit]
"I have been known to perform the 'Blessing of the Kurzicks,' which will give you +25 maximum health." It doesn't mention the regeneration or faction. Is it supposed to be that way, or has the speech not been updated to reflect the change? --75.86.196.198 02:39, 10 June 2009 (UTC)
- I can confirm that the rest still takes effect. My blessing icon even says the rest 72.38.32.223 03:54, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
Bug[edit]
If you enter a zone with more Luxon than Kurzick faction then collect a quest reward which increases your Kurzick faction above Luxon the Priest still requests a bribe. e.g. Have 100 Luxon, zero Kurzick, collect a reward from Moleneaux giving 750 Kurzick vs 100 Luxon and Priest still wants bribe. Map back in and out of an outpost and the Priest is now happy, suggesting it looks at faction upon entering the zone and not the amount you have when talking to him. 98.82.161.46 05:18, 20 January 2012 (UTC)
