Farming[edit]
Destroy 3 of the 4 Celestials and do not approach the one remaining Celestial. Continue in a loop around the mission area. The Tengu will not respawn leaving only Essence. Respawned Essence will continue to drop items includind the celestial essence. I aquired 2 - 3 essences per loop, have fun. (Jaxx Hammer)--173.16.56.248 16:53, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
- Tried this today and the respawned celestials dropped nothing. Nor did my one of L19 heroes gain any XP. Left them all night in one spot killing respawns and no drops were evident. Robdalf 11:49, 6 September 2011 (UTC)
- Respawns usually don't give you anything (experience or items) to prevent farming just like the above IP mentioned. So yeah, you can't do that. However, you CAN backtrack into the mission after killing each celestial boss and a bunch of its little minions will have spawned since you killed it, so there's that. 128.113.145.166 22:40, 6 September 2011 (UTC)
- Respanws DO drop Celestial Essences. Since the SoS buff, most players go with ritualist character solo which helps increase rate of farming items.Yoshida Keiji 04:20, 7 September 2011 (UTC)
- This may just be semantics. The first spawn of a celestial in any given location (after you kill the corresponding boss) does drop loot. However if you just wait around in a spawn point the celestials will spawn again, and I don't think these respawns drop any loot. Robdalf 23:07, 7 September 2011 (UTC)
- To further the above, the Nahpui Quarter Mission Page states quite clearly "from the initial kill." So if Keiji is able to demonstrate otherwise: I would encourage it be done and the relevant pages be changed. Otherwise, our best knowledge stands at Initial Kill Only.
