Talk:Crippling Anthem
Meh cripple aint great. Raptaz 14:02, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
- play a war chasing a caster, then say that again09:19, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
- This is a helpful skill, with real players, it becomes less useful with heroes and henchies, who all attack the same thing.--Media Control 00:55, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
- Even with real players, a few cripples isn't that hot. Dervish Aura of Thorns is easier to use, non-elite and ends up having kinda same effect. --Spura 13:14, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
- Very true, perhaps bumb it up to 8 adrenaline and add the bleeding effect as well?--Media Control 15:46, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
- I would be much happier if it was something like: "For 1..8..10 seconds, every time an ally uses an attack skill, it inflicts 0..1..2 seconds of cripple condition if it hits". If skill worked like that, I would use it. It would kinda allow attacker to keep crippling kiting enemies as long as they had attack skills to spam. --Spura 16:29, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

Same Pic in a Skill?[edit]
Is this the same leg that is in Crippling Shot?--Treesbyty 12:45, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
no, there are no slash marks on the leg of cripshot--Raph Talky 23:15, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
- Maybe Crippling Shot left a scar? Even though its weird that its a slash mark. hmmmmmmmmm *ponders*:P --MageMontu 07:46, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
- I think they just went for the "crippled foot" look again ;) Paddymew 07:30, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

This > Cripshot?[edit]
Doesn't this skill kind of make cripshot obsolete? 129.82.65.126 22:04, 10 March 2008 (UTC) Charon
Depends, i dont think most rangers would carry around this one anthem just to give everyone the ability to cripple, so id say no.--Raph Talky 20:56, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
- Maybe at the flag stand but not on a split and even then Cripshot is more spammable.--Underwood 21:00, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
Also Cripshot is unblockable. (71.82.137.61 23:26, 27 March 2008 (UTC))
- So is Magebane Shot. This on a para + Magebane + Apply Poison = Cripple and Poison on an interrupt. Also allows the paragon itself and the frontliners to cripple. 76.89.81.150 02:53, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
MB is an elite -.- 62.45.133.44 15:52, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
- Which can be carried by a Ranger Ally. So, to reiterate, this on a paragon, ranger backliners +MB = Cripple interrupt unblockable. Snaring a target you don't want to cast is always a good idea. FleshAndFaith 03:29, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
- i'm sure that sounds really nice on paper but the point of cripshot is its spammability and splitability due to the character it's on. they both have their uses, but i don't see people running crippling anthem gons over cripshot rangers anytime soon. 71.230.145.170 01:29, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
Cyclone[edit]
does anyone know if this affects all enemies if you use cycle, whirlwind, or 100 swords?GRRRRARG 22:38, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
- Chances are it works like all other chants/shouts, ehere it affects the first attack only. --- Ressmonkey (talk) 23:25, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
Bug[edit]
i dont know how to add th anormaly template, so i wont try. but i wouldnt say that its a bug. so sould someone who know what they are doing, please add "anormaly" insted 87.51.135.254 06:21, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
- I'd say it's a bug. Any other Anthem or Shout that affects allies clearly states "Allies" while those that only affect Party members say "Party members". 71.54.232.9 20:13, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
- Is the bug that affect anything still in effect?--66.50.161.64 17:31, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
Reasons why Anthem of Guidance is useless[edit]
Read Crippling Anthem.Keywords:"...allies...".--ShadowFog 21:54, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
- gtfo. it also affects party members. it becomes really useful when used in conjunction with allies on some missions. 80.126.47.201 10:58, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
- "Allies" means both party members and all other players/NPCs who are friendly to the player. This is a way for Black Bear to actually be a good pet. Paddymew 07:43, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
- Nice to see people don't actually test skills before they conclude they're unusable and crap 114.77.98.223 11:08, 7 December 2010 (UTC)

- Yes --Frosty 08:46, 6 June 2010 (UTC)
