Drop Rate bugged?

These dropped fine during the sneak peek weekend, yet not a single drop so far for me. Makes Destructive Research quest quite a pain despite being just a regular quest. --Redfeather 04:22, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

Also noted. Received 7-8 during sneak-peak, only received one so far (and I've killed a fair few more Destroyers). Guildies seem to be having a similar problem. Fam 01:10, 5 September 2007 (UTC)

Fixed?

Anyone else found it better than before? Personally still yet to find one even after the fixed bug...maybe they only drop from 1% of destroyers? That seems like its a little excessive to me. Maybe make it drop from 1 out of every 5 destroyers you kill or at least 1 out of 10 would be nice. 76.102.172.202 22:46, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

They definitely are dropping much better now. I've found about 5 since the update. Haven't kept track of how many Destroyers I've killed, but it's almost certainly less than 100, so I'd guesstimate around 1 out of 20 for me. What does Glint's require?

That you have access to the Central Transfer Chamber. I'm not sure, but you might also have to have completed GW:EN and gotten Hard-Mode to unlock it, although you do not have to do Glint's Challenge on Hard-Mode. 203.94.61.143 02:37, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

Drop Rate same or around the same as ectos

If only ecto dropped as much :( i would be rich by now, i get 1-5 per run in 5-6 minutes doing the first swarm of glints challenge and i get 1-3 ecto in 15-20 minutes doing a smite run on my warrior, i would say cores drop alot more than ecto by a mile. T1Cybernetic 10:47, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
