Irony[edit]
The char holding the scythe is a perma SF XD. Pretty good job at nerfing UWSC. 194.2.20.67 16:02, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
- Lol good point. They're down to 30 minute runs for what I've heard. Karate Jesus 16:16, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
- I thought they reworked UW to prevent SC? So they added new final content so it takes 10 more minutes, what's the point ? Ah yes! Give Shadow farmer new high end content to sell for 1000e XD. 194.2.20.67 16:20, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
- If by reworked, you mean added skeles, then yes. But all that really did was lengthen the current time of the most meta UWSC's, motivate people to find new ways to do it (which they did), and completely kill off 55 farming in UW. Karate Jesus 16:29, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
- Um... the char holding the scythe is a sin. Period. You can't say he is perma unless you can see his build. So any whinning/joking/irony-showing is kinda out of place. -- Large 19:03, 20 November 2009 (UTC)

The Sin is probably a mobway sin with a +20% longer enchantment mod from back in the day when people liked to do easy SC's and does not fail at Dhuum like Dayway does often.
- I want that scythe, BUT im Dervish!!!!!!!!!!! NOT ASSASSIN... how i can complete UW?!! its unreal to find group who accept me. I see only GLF Mobbers, Mobway... --89.218.14.83 19:24, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
- Try making more than one character?--168.122.167.221 19:44, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, but that's not the point. Just UW so hard, that except Assassins and Monks, all the rest there is most useless. --89.218.14.83 19:52, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
- I don't have any trouble with my necro, warrior, or rit in a decently competent group. Sure it's no speed clear, but I actually enjoy myself, so I think it's a fair trade-off. -- 70.88.243.73 21:31, 20 November 2009 (UTC)

- @ OP - So what you're saying is that ANet did achieve their goal of relegating PermaSins to a roll as dedicated tank within the Underworld? Oh snap! Burn! 173.71.169.156 18:55, 22 November 2009 (UTC)
- @173 I don't where you read that I said that Anet relagated SF as a uw tank build, maybe you should read twice? Perma sin can do much more than tank in UW (running almost all dungeons, etc...) 194.2.20.67 08:26, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
- Within the context of UW. ANet didn't say "We're going to wave our magic wands and create vast portions of code that will avoid SF being abused, or simply nerf it into oblivion." They said the point of this update is to relegate PermaSins to dedicated tanks within UW. They're planning to do the same thing with FoW as well as the other elite areas. The whole point of making Shadowform maintainable was to give the Assassin class the ability to be the dedicated tank due to their underuse from ANet statistics. However, this became abused and now they're trying to fix it without losing players since some players only PermaSin every day all day while ignoring the rest of the game. So there's nothing ironic about PermaSins being in UW - it just means that ANet achieved their goal for this update. So, directed towards your inane antisocial comeback, I got the relegation of Permasin to dedicated tank within UW from ANet. You know, the fellows that run the game. 173.71.169.156 18:57, 23 November 2009 (UTC)

OMG![edit]
Most. Awesome. Weapon. In. Game.Charocles 23:26, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, it seems Blizzard's strange habit of applying generic glowing effects to weapons has rubbed off on us. I think for now, my Tormented and Destroyer scythes are my favorite, until I see if this is indeed a generic glowing effect or something cool (you can only tell so much from a picture). Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ аІiсә ѕνәи Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ 21:47, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
- It's glowing, green smoke coming from where the haft meets the blade. This obscures the blade only somewhat up close, but makes it VERY distinctive from anything beyond point-blank, staring range. The smoke creates a trail while you move, but not when attacking (*sad face*) and does not accumulate around the scythe itself while moving. Honestly, the little design on the pommel end is my favorite, though! xP 141.165.171.194 21:02, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
- Could anyone with this scythe make an animation to display the smoke effect? Like on the Tormented Staff page? Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ аІiсә ѕνәи Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ 21:00, 10 January 2010 (UTC)

Zchest[edit]
Considering that the eblade drops from the zchest, would this be underworld chest only or zchest as well? 98.248.90.248 01:12, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
- Does Oola's Staff drop from Zchest? (Hint: no.) I'm guessing this doesn't; seeing as people are always and constantly buying and using Zkeys, and this is such a flashy weapon, that we'd have heard about it wiki-side by now. --[-Kyoshi-]::[-Talk-] 01:18, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
- The difference is that this is a gold, but yeah, probably wouldve had a drop by now. 98.248.90.248 03:05, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
- Ya, not all skins drop from the ZChest, there are actually quite a few examples of ones that don't. 129.174.190.37 02:12, 14 December 2009 (UTC)
- Really? O_o Where would I find those examples? Was under the impression that every skin dropped from zchest. Rose Of Kali 23:59, 9 January 2010 (UTC)

- I've seen a list somewhere, but what I remember is Jugs, Amber weapons, Jade weapons, Plagureborn weapons, and a few more Factions things. Manifold 21:19, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
- ^+eotn collector skins, certain endgame skins, obv Dhuum's Soul Reaper, and tormented weapons. 98.248.90.248 21:35, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
- Imo, there should be a list of these on the zchest article. Or at least in the talkpage. It's not like anyone sane uses zchest to hunt for a specific skin, but it's still interesting info, especially for people who roll stacks of keys at once wondering what they might get out of it... Salvage[edit]
Can you salvage one of these? It's not listed in the article nor infobox. ~Seef II <◈|۞> 01:35, 13 December 2010 (UTC) I would hit anyone that did.
- Seriously, If you salvage this weapon, or even try to, Dhuum himself should show up and 'salvage' you for a day. Guildwarsrunner 13:51, 27 December 2010 (UTC)
Under Construction?[edit]
Something funky happened to me when a friend of mine sold me his DSR.. For the dutch pms the last sentence means: "Huh, wtf is that picture?" Which was my first reaction before taking a SS.. http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/6587/wtfax.png 62.235.167.118 17:48, 9 January 2011 (UTC)

And now the Grenth Variant?[edit]
I mean, c'mon, if you've got the evil one's scythe, why not directly the...good one's? (guess a color override from green to teal would suffice) 82.156.22.85 20:12, 21 March 2011 (UTC)
- I've never gotten the impression of Grenth as a 'reaper' type death god, so I don't think he would be a scythe swinger. Besides, I think the premise behind Dhuum's is that you are taking his actual scythe away with you as a trophy. You don't have a chance to try that with Grenth. Though it does make me wonder, if the scythe can be hauled off by mortals for their use, why did the Grenth leave it in there with Dhuum in the first place? Bottom of Giant's Basin, asap, would have been my move. Guildwarsrunner 00:24, 22 March 2011 (UTC)
- Perhaps grenth decided to send someone down there to put the scythe there, but that person got banned on his way? 82.156.22.85 15:04, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
