Talk:Disc of Chaos
I'm not sure if this one is a boss, so someone might want to check him out with a SoC. -- (gem / talk) 00:59, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
Killing the Disc of Chaos[edit]
Bringing a hero/player/zho really helps for this guy. a Broad head arrow Interupt ranger can pin him down so the party doesnt get wiped too easily by some of his attacks, as this is a quite powerful boss --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 80.61.194.162 (talk).
- Golem melee causes Daze somethimes I think (they definitely have a skill for it), but other interrupts work well also. (though I have only fought it once, so this information may be off.)Tambora 21:39, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
Rolling Shift ?[edit]
Image:User Killer Revan Skill Rolling Shift.jpg Image is a little big, but i did not have time to crop it, anyway this skill should be added for Disc and have a page of its own. (so far i have no clue what this skill does) --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Killer Revan (talk).
- Resized the pic for ya. --Lou-Saydus 18:21, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
- Haha, hero with 165 health. --- Ressmonkey (talk) 01:29, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
- I added link so page isn't ginormous and ugly formatting. RV if you want image on page. Calor — talk 01:33, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
- Its fine...i just wish i knew wtf the skill actually didKiller Revan 02:51, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
- I'm guessing he's got one too many super runes. I myself beat this guy with 57% DP and had 211 hp. Only wish he had been harder. :/ — Galil 22:56, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
- Back to the old subject... verified. He does use that skill. Tested it, and from quick results I see that all his spells fail if he is interrupted while using that. May be just a hench/hero skill that I didn't notice, Iil go to study it more. 89.139.165.32 08:14, 31 May 2008 (UTC)

(Reset indent) not sure how to sign, but ive got a tiny tidbit of info about the "Rolling Shift". if you pay attention to his animations, he morphs into a giant crab and begins crab walkin' to its foes. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 76.240.21.156 (talk).
HP[edit]
Any idea on how much health this thing has? --SK 13:37, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
Someone in my guild says it's around 11,000. :O --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 86.133.51.212 (talk).
- Well through some tests i'd say lots. But when you select him. you see 'lvl 32 disc of chaos' (HM) I found that when using victorious sweep it doesn't give the health bonus till his health is between the first 'L' and 'V' in lvl, my health is 535 when I was using it (And he was targetting my henchies, so my health remained that throughout the fight. So i would guess ~10,000. Lt Death 15:20, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
- 21240 in NM. I don't know exactly in HM but probably more. 37.19.110.14 06:10, 19 January 2019 (UTC)
White shining cube "bug"[edit]
Isn't this just someone who hasn't loaded the graphics fully yet in the .dat? BlazeRick 17:17, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
- Considering that people in town appear as white shining foo before they finish loading even with a full -image sometimes, probably? --Star Weaver 17:19, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
- Exactly. BlazeRick 17:46, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
Come on, seriously?[edit]
I was disappointed in this boss. I thought he was going to be a lot harder than he was. He was an easy boss, all you have to take is two melee tanks, two healers, a protector, a condition spammer, and an optional ranged DPS. Let your tanks take all the damage while the protector and healers do their thing, and have the spammer... spam. Even if you die, there's a shrine right before him so you can get back into it before he can regen very much. --Aldarik 23:22, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
- "all you have to take is two melee tanks, two healers, a protector"" lol. That's one monk and two tanks more than you usuall have. Ɲoɕʈɋɽɕɧ 23:35, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
- I wouldn't say disappointing. It has to be possible for those too silly to bring a prot rit/monk. He does go down easily with a prot monk though. Just killed him in HM without a single henchie/hero or golem dieing (didn't do the whole pulling thing either, fought the two groups around him with him aggroed). All you have to do is put prot spirit on a hero (necro works well) and micro it on your melees. Funny thing is, in HM this dungeon boss who is an ele (therefore expected to have some of the highest damage in the game) still does less damage than Mobrin, Lord of the Marsh in NORMAL mode. I hate that boss, I still believe a dev acidently tagged an extra 0 on his base damage. 114.77.98.223 13:10, 25 November 2010 (UTC)
Health[edit]
Seriously, how much health does this guy have ? Magnum 18:59, 16 June 2011 (UTC)
Are you sure it's an elementalist?[edit]
Just dropped warrior tome for me, unfortunately I don't have a ss, but isn't that means it's a warrior? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 31.63.103.34 (talk).
- Theoretically, yes, but it's better if you provide a screenshot. Blue Totoro (talk) 14:14, 23 May 2014 (UTC)
- It wouldn't be able to have 17 Fire Magic if it weren't a primary Elementalist, would it (genuine question, haven't played GW1 in a long time). Could it have something to do with Rolling Shift? --Santax (talk · contribs) 15:45, 23 May 2014 (UTC)
- See the guildwiki talk page for the same foe - probably doesn't need a screenshot. That user also suspected that it was something to do with Rolling Shift. (changes shape too, so I guess its kind of like the Graven Monoliths using Reform Carvings).
- @santax; I think that hard mode foes don't have limits to their secondary attributes, Peacekeeper Sibyl for example has 16 in a secondary attrib, still, I doubt that it can have 2 primary attributes.
- The best way to test this would be with the amount of energy that it has (energy storage y/n), so if you use Aneurysm on it after a few minutes of fighting, it'll either do fuckall or a lot of damage. (Alternatively, Atrophy?) (preferably testing on the foe both while in and out of the rolling disc form) I'll add warrior as the secondary prof for the moment. -Chieftain Alex 17:55, 23 May 2014 (UTC)
- also, foes get one extra +1 energy regen, so this foe would have 3 energy regen and 20 energy in hard mode if it were a warrior.. and doesn't it spam Flame Burst? seems incompatible. -Chieftain Alex 08:21, 26 May 2014 (UTC)
