IMO this skill needs �1/2 sec activation to be effective.

Yeah, it was nice when it had 5 second recharge, as a skill you would always use. Couldn't really plan to interrupt anything, but it eventually it worked just by the laws of chance. Even 3 second cast spells can be somewhat difficult if your target was running, because sometimes the pet stops and does nothing for a second after catching up to the enemy, instead of keeping the attack up like a melee player. DISTRACTING SHOT > DISRUPTING LUNGE. Distracting shot still has a super short recharge for its effect...

Distracting Shot is to the Ranger as Prot Spirit and Reversal of Fortune is to the Monk, you should never see it nerfed. At best, they'll scale it so that Ranger primaries use it the more effectively than Ranger secondaries. Denizen Zero 11:58, 23 August 2008 (UTC)

I agree with the recharge complaints, it is a bit much. Now I only use this skill BECAUSE of its long recharge with enraged lunge. Chao 13:11, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

Will Heroes Use This?

Anyone know if heroes will attempt to use this to interrupt skills? I only ask because Team - Personal Barbway uses a hero with this skill and Savage Pounce. --Supernick530 21:58, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
