Range[edit]

This skill has a bigger range than Meteor right?--Bazooka56--

Nearby is greater than adjacent, so yes. See page Area of Effect. RandomJF 23:41, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

Cost for Knock Down[edit]

Y'know, this skill (and its counterpart) has a lot of restrictions just for a knock down. High energy cost, 3 second cast time, and exhaustion just aren't worth it. If the knock down wasn't on this skill you know the energy cost would slip to 15, casting time to 2, and recharge ~10 seconds. I just can't justify +10e, +1ct, +5r, +(-5) from max energy just to knockdown nearby foes. :S Magic User Magic Icon.jpg Talk 05:42, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

actually nearby KD is pretty rediculous. Only problem is it's in earth magic XD and fairly easily interruptable. Greep 08:48, 1 March 2010 (UTC)

Suggestion[edit]

What about that: You invoke an Earthquake at target foe's location for 9 seconds. Every 3 seconds all foes near this location are knocked down and are struck for 16...35...64 earth damage. This spell causes Exhaustion. 25Tango-energy.png 3Tango-activation-darker.png 30Tango-recharge-darker.png File:Tango-exhaustion.png --Soulforged User Soulforged sig.jpg 14:54, 5 March 2010 (UTC)

You're not seriously making this skill be an Earth version of Meteor Shower, are you? GuidingUser GuidingLight Glimmer of Light.jpgLight 03:08, 24 April 2010 (UTC)
Of course not. He's suggesting that you make it an Earth version of Meteor Shower with larger range, shorter cast time, and shorter recharge. Duh. --97.77.55.49 08:53, 6 May 2010 (UTC)

Causes exhaustion[edit]

I'm using this spell and it's twin, and it appears they both cause exhaustion. This despite not saying so, either here or in the in-game skill descriptions.

Can some others check to see if this is unique to me? If not, we should mention it in the notes as a bug (or, possibly an oddity). Daddicus 21:09, 12 February 2012 (UTC)

Both show 10 Overcast. Mora 21:18, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
You probably remember how ANet used to indicate exhaustion via the concise and long descriptions. They've changed that so it's represented by an icon instead, which is more consistent with how other resource costs are displayed. – Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 22:28, 14 February 2012 (UTC)
Yep, that's it. I didn't know it had changed. Thanks! 24.131.159.55 05:23, 15 February 2012 (UTC)
Strange that my signature didn't work on the one above. It may be related to the fact that I was logged off this morning. Anyhow, that last post was mine. Daddicus 17:30, 15 February 2012 (UTC)

Heroes[edit]

3 foes seems to be the number it takes to make the hero attack with this skill. Couldnt get them to use it with only 2 foes. In a way thats good that they arnt burning energy and stacking exhaustion while waiting for the correct useage. But at the same time it makes the skill pretty limiting in that its rarely used. Meteor Shower is in the same way but its shutdown power for 10 seconds makes it worth carrying even if its only used on something like a single monk foe. The suggestion above would be pretty rediculous but even if they copied meteor shower itself i would be happier. Probably another OP suggestion considering churning earth and unsteady ground are fairly potent right now. Justice 21:58, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
