Energy discrepancy[edit]
A quick note about this skill. I entered the in-game description to match the Guild Wars official website description with 10...22 Energy. My mesmer in-game shows a max of 23 Energy when her Illusion attribute is maxed out at 16 points. I searched the official site for skill updates and did not find any accounting for this discrepancy. An error? Or perhaps the Official site is not counting attributed head gear? --Mask 00:36, 31 March 2007 (EDT)
- The official site uses a 0 to 15 scale for each skill's progression, (don't ask me why, it makes no sense to me :P ). And at 15 Illusion, Ethereal Burden is indeed 22 energy. So it's not really an error. --Dirigible 00:42, 31 March 2007 (EDT)
- Alrighty. Good to know. Thanks! :-) I'm going to search the wiki a bit and perhaps start a discussion (if I don't find anything) about whether or not we are using the 0-15 or 0-16 scale for the skill descriptions here... Just fyi lol :-) --Mask 00:49, 31 March 2007 (EDT)
- You probably want to look at Guild Wars Wiki:Formatting/Skills and Guild Wars Wiki talk:Formatting/Skills#Green numbers for that. It seems that so far the agreement is to use 0...12...15 for the progression in the skill description. --Dirigible 00:58, 31 March 2007 (EDT)
- Thanks! Will do. --Mask 01:18, 31 March 2007 (EDT)

On death[edit]
If someone with this hex dies, do you get the energy? --Lupercaleb 07:10, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
- I'd assume that would satisfy the "when ends" condition. An even better test would involve the use of Shatter Delusions. -- Hercanic 20:27, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
- Or Drain Delusions for super energy! Justing6 00:39, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
This hex also seems to end if the caster of it dies. --Hullu 20:41, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure all hexes where the caster also gains a bonus end when the caster dies 83.90.164.110 20:43, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
- Oh, ok. I didnt know that. --Hullu 12:46, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
Does It trigger on hex removal?
