- Sorry, no PvE weekends for you 130.215, "Cause PvE Sucks." Righty o.
- Can't you all shut up and realise that PvP isn't better than PvE, and vice versa? Both modes are great and stop bitching 77.253.120.41 19:20, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

Since the update Birthday Cupcakes have been dropping in Pre Searing. Haven't seen any elsewhere yet Buddah668 19:08, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
Apparently this update also make the "joke" from april fool in Lion Arch (i don't look at other towns). I haven't updated again, but i think it's gone too with the 2nd update. Habacalva Zann Esu 20:38, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
Birthday Cupcakes[edit]
After this update I found 3 cakes, intented or not? Quindecim 19:10, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
I also been finding them. Guess the 2nd update just now is to fix that? Magua 19:18, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
Since this update I found one Cupcake in Jaya Bluffs. Haven't found any others, but I'll let you know if I see another one spawn. I was playing on my E/M, level 20, killing Giants and Tengu. Anon, 10 January 2008
Dzabel Land Guardian[edit]
What or who is this? --Ш3вч [TALK] @ 19:20, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
- Do you remember Stoneherder's Flatbow, that did not drop for 2 years? I guess someone at ANet just noticed that nobody ever listed a boss namend Dzabel Land Guardian, and they probably fixed that. Watch out in Nightfall for a new boss. Maybe it drops the new ultrarare Dzabelizer. --Longasc 19:31, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
- By the sound of the name, I am guessing he is somewhere near Dzaganur Bastion and looks like a Shambling Mesa or Sandstorm Crag. -- Brains12 • Talk • 20:48, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
- Checked Dzagonur (Wilderness of Bazhda). He is not there, but no wonder, there are neither Crags nor Mesas. Kourna or the Desolation could be possible. --Longasc 21:15, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

Exploit that could allow players access to certain locked outposts[edit]
Everyone who exploited this issue got banned permanently. Vezz 21:20, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
To which outposts you could gain access?
- Obviously the locked ones, things like Tahnnakai Temple if you haven't done the quests properly. -- Broodling 23:12, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
- are u sure? perma-ban seems like a ridiculous penalty for such a small infraction. it wouldn't give a player any measurable advantage over another player except that he skipped some storyline. and considering that running is so widespread in prophecies, it makes no sense. i was thinking they somehow got access to another campaign. --VVong|BA 23:16, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
Didn't they "fix" this bug three times now? And nobody was banned the first two times it was introduced, either.--Goteki-45 00:05, 11 January 2008 (UTC)- See Gaile News. This bug isnät the same as the Guild Hall thing. - anja 00:06, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, I just did a bit more digging and saw that page. Was going to post here and cross myself out to comment, but you beat me. In this case, I can agree with everyone being banned that did it, since it was a pretty major hack and not just finding a random existing bug. --Goteki-45 00:17, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

- It was an outpost in DoA which was completely empty of all NPC but had an enter button which lead into the last step of Mallyx quest without the need of completing the first 4 parts. I heard some people could earn 9 Mallyx green as well as 9 gemsets in less than 3 hours. I assume they killed mallyx and completed the quest 9 times which is doable at ~16min per kill (Ursanway). LOL[edit]
It took anet this long to figure out that boss wasnt spawning.... and i was all excited for a skill update (nerf DD) 24.141.45.72 00:41, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
- No one needs to know that you want DD nerfed. Anyways, this update is good. It makes the Ice Crown shiny and more noticeable, much like if you put lotion on a cold sore. Drago 01:03, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
- Hey, at least it matches the glacial gloves now. Icepeople FTW Silavor 23:04, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
