Now for a hoto unnerf so we can actually use our assassins and they might kill some of those NPCs... -- Armond Warblade 19:15, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
- Is Izzy trying to bring dervishes in to replace warriors as the main spikers. Let's hope he knows what he's doing. --Ckal Ktak 19:22, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
- never ever thought i should see a nerf to Sight Beyond Sight and Fear Me which to me have been fail skills since i first saw them, but i havn't played much HA lately so what do i know.. --Cursed Angel 19:22, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
- Retarded buff to pious assault is retarded. Pluto 19:25, 23 January 2008 (UTC)

- LOL are these guys retarded? Why the hell do they want a VoD slaughterhouse. Now its all gunna be 5/3 splits 24.141.45.72 19:33, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
- Izzy loves split tactics, doesn't he? ~500 damage from arrows to guild lord... scary as hell. --Rayd 19:54, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
- "Fear me" nerf is kinda hard but no problems for the Steady stance warrior thank you izzy you didn't nerf this any further :) --Fox007 20:33, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
- Angelic Protection? Yes, bringing a skill just for VoD is retarded. Lightblade 20:37, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
- 3 archers killed my team's mesmer without dp in a faster spike than ranger spike on steroids. With SoD on. At 27:00. (In before nerf to prots, welcome blood-fest-VoD) --Rayd 22:42, 23 January 2008 (UTC)

Fear Me[edit]
hehe looks like that QQer got through to izzy. --Lou-Saydus 20:56, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
- I know! >.> (we are thinking about the same person, are we?) BlazeRick 17:22, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
- "Okay, wow- Izzy once again proves that he listens to players in absoloutely" <--- this one? --Lou-Saydus 17:24, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
- Yah, that one. The one who QQ-ed about IWAY on the talk page of the last update. BlazeRick 17:31, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
- The nerf to "Fear Me!" was extreme, and ruined a lot of builds, not only IWAY. Even with a 1 sec recharge, it would have been better, and not killed so many other builds.
- Apart from the bit where iway is still fine. Lord of all tyria 20:50, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

Pious Assault[edit]
I like this last update, except this bit. Can we get an explanation on this? I am curious as to why this skill has been insanely buffed, and why is there a need to promote spiking? I don't have a practical problem with this skill yet, in a way that someone beat me with it, but I'm never too happy to see more spiking options for no reason at all. Dervish needs buff to its elites, not buff to non elite skills which become better than elite skills (see: Wounding Strike, and compare it with this skill). I don't like it. I'm for balancing, not for forcing us to use specific skills because alternatives are so bad. Look at Visions of Regret. Saddest thing is, Empathy got buffed when it was already better than Visions of Regret. Disgusting. Servant of Kali 01:17, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
- The fact that Dervishes are getting buffed at all is disturbing. That profession has needed a stern nerfing since it was introduced. (Goes back to getting owned by 3-derv split teams in HvH)--Glenforder 04:49, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
- Because warriors with evicersate always had rule over the spike kingdom, this update allows non-melandru dervishes a look-in, it's allowable because dervs are squishier. --Ckal Ktak 10:25, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
- Their squishiness is balanced with other factors, such as the array of their defensive enchantments (something that warrior does not have), and AoE effect of their scythe. There are better ways to buff Dervish than giving them 20 deep wound skills. I for one always looked at Dervish as Melee utility profession, and at Warrior as brute force melee profession. My logic is that Dervish should not be picked because it deals as much raw dmg as warrior, or because it spikes better or equal to warrior, but because you can modify him more to counter a certain style of gameplay. Something like old Grenth Dervish but not that extreme. And about those self-enchantments, I think the whole design is flawed on self-protection and self-heals, and I think those skills should be tweaked. Servant of Kali 12:35, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah any good derv could easily take down a warrior, but on the flip side it would be hard to take down a good derv as a warrior. Assuming this is 1v1, but then again the game is about teams :P --Lou-Saydus 17:26, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
- There's more to Guild Wars than GvG and HA. A lot more.--Glenforder 18:41, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

Lag[edit]
Why don't they nerf the recent surge of terrible lag rather than weakening already weak skills? Invincible Rogue 21:04, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
- Lag is gud, obey the lag --Rayd 21:08, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
- Lag is terrible. I wish they would do something to fix it. We payed to play a game, not to pray for our ping to go under 4,000 and us disconnect literally 3 times in 2 minutes. They NEED to fix it immediately. Invincible Rogue 21:29, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
- What lag? - HeWhoIsPale 21:32, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
- The recent HORRIBLE lag that has plagued entire villages, eaten small children, etc. Invincible Rogue 21:34, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
- I guess it's some sort of horrible ninja lag, I've not seen it. - HeWhoIsPale 21:39, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
- Hand over your flesh, and a new lag awaits you. We demand it. --Ravious 21:44, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
- So lag is hungry? --Rayd 22:38, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, the lag is hungry. When I enter a town, there's a ton of lag. When I leave, it's like it freedom from an evil monster. TheStuff07 22:57, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
- Aside from a few hickups i havent seen anything recently. --Lou-Saydus 23:41, 23 January 2008 (UTC)

- Lag will get you, soon, be scared. --Rayd 09:15, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
- I haven't seen any lag lately. Last lag was at LA during Wintersday. --Hawk Skeer 16:01, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
