- QQ more plz i mean really you guys had walls of text qqing that they changed it and now your qqing that they changed back. no wonder anet has such a hard time balancing.- Zesbeer 21:26, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
- If only they would do it right the first time. You would think they would learn.--Underwood 21:29, 24 September 2009 (UTC)µ
- Have to agree with underwood. Dont stall updates or make mistakes you know you will change. If they plan on getting rid of farming, please do that all in one update and give something back in return. --193.190.253.144 21:32, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
- (ec)they wont start to do it right the first time until the test krew is in place well at least i hope... also they didnt plan on changing it back i bet my bet is that they didnt anticipate it.- Zesbeer 21:34, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
- Wuts QA. Also they should know all the farming builds by now. (one would hope) But anyway, yes they won't learn cause they are baed.--Underwood 21:43, 24 September 2009 (UTC)

- /agree. -Kage No Yugata 22:47, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
Pardon the ignorance, but what type of farming builds was this skill used in to such an extent?? --Ninjatek 23:13, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
- 600 smite i believe - Zesbeer 23:52, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
It was also used in the E/ME Raptor Farm Wynterarwynrose 00:47, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
- I have no issue with this.... 600 is not the easiest thing in the world to do, and I am happy they did a split revert... given the abilty to not get interupted constantly in PvP is not really needed. - SabreWolf 01:18, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
- It kind of is if you ever want your important skills to go off. But having perma-invincibility to interrupts is OP.--Underwood 01:21, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
- MoR is NOT perma invincibility to interrupts please! Think about stance ending skills, plus if energy pool is drained it wears off.--|pixy| 06:30, 25 September 2009 (UTC)

So they reverted MoR...[edit]
I'm happy about that, yeah, but did they fix the Ether Prism and Escape bugs? ;$ ~ Chao 21:31, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
- Is escape being nerfed badly in pvp a bug? Better be, or I'm still pissed. -1337cshacker --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 98.145.195.91 (talk).
No complaints. Thanks for changing it back! --The Duke of Silence 22:27, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
Mantra of Resolve Is Back![edit]
Thank you soooo much for listening to your players and splitting Mantra of Resolve!!!!! Wynterarwynrose 00:10, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
- Ya thanks for listening to your players about escape anet, really appreciate that /end sarcasm -1337cshacker --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 98.145.195.91 (talk).

- Good to know they (still) listen extensively to us players. I feel wuved.69.249.223.63 01:19, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
- What is the point of nerfing it in PvP? It was just a pve farming problem...but Shadow form
is the greatest issueis the issue ppl are being so damn hypocritical about when 600/smite is a major broken 1 key for spirit bond here so /shrugs Haru 02:49, 25 September 2009 (UTC)- Not being able to interrupt overpowered skills was the problem in PvP.--Underwood 02:58, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
- Problem is in my high form of PvP I've never seen the skill. Ever. Haru 03:03, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
- Its called VoR sh!!!!!! Lilondra *poke* 04:45, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
- Obviously Haru you haven't been to "high forms of PvP." If you consider Random Arenas a high form of pvp, do GvGs, HA, and TA. If you've ever done things like that you'll learn why Mantra of Resolve was nerfed for PvP. 68.193.46.141 00:25, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
- Recognize sarcasm much? And TA is a total shitfest where no matter what setup I find myself in i get farmed by gay things(and no it is not a high form of pvp) so I've never found myself in HA for over a damn year and a half. Haru 02:51, 10 October 2009 (UTC)

speaking as a Mesmer...[edit]
First of all thx Anet for reverting this at least for PvE. Secondly, IF the intention was to suppress some farming builds, I would have moved it to the Fast Casting attribute line and keep same old stats... --|pixy| 06:25, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
- You should read what it says on top of page. 195.148.98.17 06:54, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
- Will do :-) --|pixy| 08:18, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
I think that it's pointless to move things to fast casting. if everything used in a farming build just ended up getting moved there then professions would just be based around their primary attribute. 82.8.227.172 20:31, 25 September 2009 (UTC)

Fail update[edit]
ANet finally takes steps to reduce ridiculous farming, then it gets reverted. Huge fail.
- The change to MoR had nothing to do with farming, read the dev talk on it. Oh, and sign your comments. (Satanael | talk) 06:29, 26 September 2009 (UTC)
- Although I don't care as much about farming, I disagree with this pve buff. --Boro 12:42, 30 September 2009 (UTC)
One single revert?[edit]
Many skills got nerfed for both play types before the skill split, yet they revert this single skill all this time later but not all the other great skills that should be reverted? - Chrisworld 22:40, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
- This change in particular probably made the PvE players cry, due to its use in farming builds. I don't think any other single revert would make as much difference. People weren't using R/A in PvE, Immolate was meh, who used bloodspike, you don't need Distortion, etc etc.
- Of course, since it's PvE there's no real reason not to make all PvP-based changes PvP-only, but that is an entirely other argument. Vili 点 06:49, 26 September 2009 (UTC)
- A Protective Bond revert sure would. Anyways, he mentioned skills that got nerfed for PvP reasons before the PvE/PvP skill split, not ones that got the axe this time around. 4.88.50.64 20:31, 26 September 2009 (UTC)
- I am quite glad they reverted, it was nice skill for all builds. It was not really a balance for any of em, just an elimination. Ramza Garland 13:43:00 September 28, 2009 (UTC)
- Prot Bond was nerfed because they did not know enough about their own game's code to prevent an infinite loop from happening (which happened with prot bond, balth's spirit, essence bond, and mind wrack all on 1 target and his energy reached 0). If they can fix the code, Prot Bond can get some kind of push... Koda Kumi talk 21:11, 30 September 2009 (UTC)
