kinda soon but what was the update that just happened?AurenX 23:28, 11 June 2010 (UTC)

It was so small I doubt it was more than a quick bug fix or something, might not even get a mention. 99.6.219.224 23:29, 11 June 2010 (UTC)
Patience. The update was listed within seconds of you asking. Backsword 23:30, 11 June 2010 (UTC)
Just a bug fix. The update notes should get posted on the web pretty soon, but we're wrangling a few computer issues, so I've put the note on the wiki in the meantime. :-) --Regina Buenaobra User Regina Buenaobra sig.png 23:31, 11 June 2010 (UTC)

June 17[edit]

this update has now made it impossible for me to even start up guild wars. every time i try to open up the crappy game i get a "serious error" message that prevents guild wars from running any further after loading to 99% complete with 1 file remaining. i guess it has something to do with the fact that i downloaded the client off their website cuz i lost the disks from 3yrs ago, but either way anet needs to fix this cuz i cnt even get the stupid update. It has nothing to do with you using the client from their website, as I also used the website's client and I downloaded the update just fine. --Silver Edge 06:22, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
Just restart your computer, that worked for me.--Neil2250 User Neil2250 sig icon6.png 07:01, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
Before you move on to dervish you should revisit mesmers, and the spammability of mesmer skills by hardmode monsters as well as testing the changes made from the perspective of other classes,

the following is a quote:

This is my first feedback, but I feel so strongly about what I'm going to say that I'll even send an email to ANet. To wit -- enemy Mesmers in PvE have become party-killers. Most noticeable in Hard Mode, especially with boosted Fast Casting attributes (curse you, level 30 creatures). Post-update, Eye of the North areas are much harder in Normal Mode and Hard Mode, and the Fissure of Woe (not sure about other end-game areas like the Underworld) has creatures like the Skeletal Ether Breaker that can solo a party and wipe it. Those seven pips of health regeneration allow them to tank, too; really, there's no more need for other classes except as body-blockers, as these Mesmers can tank an all-human-team's damage and still out-DPS Elementalists (curse you, Energy Surge). But most egregious in my opinion is the nerf of consumables, cheapening some hitherto high-end items; was it really in necessary to cap everyone else's skill-activation-time-decreases at 25%? Did play-testers fight against level 20+ Mesmers as anything other than Mesmers, themselves? To quote Penny Arcade (http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2003/7/7/): "To sum up I like your game, but it is very hard." P.S. Send Pocky. --Morgana1 15:06, 16 June 2010 (UTC)

thank you Rogueonion 08:35, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

That's funny, because I've really felt that hard mode basically feels like normal mode now since almost all enemies now have the same casting time in hm that they do in nm. Mesmers might be slightly more difficult, but every other enemy is hm had their difficulty dropped by a lot. Also, if you have a full human team and a mesmer can tank all of your damage... you fail not anet, mesmers are still squishy and regardless of the skills that help keep them alive they still die faster than any tank if you focus on them. The only real difference now for me is that they aren't always my absolute last priority to kill. As for the nerf to consumables... there are some people who think they shouldn't have been put in the game in the first place, there was an uproar when they were introduced. They still provide valuable buffs and I'm still seeing them being sold for the same price they always were, the only thing that's been affected is that they don't completely replace an entire profession's primary attribute anymore. So yeah, I'm sorry I can't agree with you, but I don't feel sorry for you. 99.6.219.224 22:57, 24 June 2010 (UTC)
