common eotn skin?[edit]
i got a lot of these so far, could drop in every dungeon, as well as in the far shiverpeaks... —ZerphaThe Improver 18:11, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah I would say this is about as common as they come I think. I get them more frequently in eotn that the regular "common" skins, never seen them outside eotn thus far though. Dungeons, especially CoF drop these things like there's no tommorrow. Personally I think they make an attractive caster sword, and usually come with casting mods (most of the time, not always). They just seem too dainty to be taken seriously as a melee fighter's weapon. Although Jora swinging one is just comical Nay the One and Only 00:54, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
I got this in Prophecies[edit]
I can't exactly remember where I was, but it was in the Maguuma Jungle and it dropped from a White Mantle Zealot, I don't own Eye of the North, either. Glitch? 24.7.141.45 19:52, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
I suppose thats possible since they may have just updated the drop table for monsters that appear in EoTN from the original prophecies game. AKA white mantle. Im not talking like general categories, im saying like white mantle zealot or even like ice imps.--Justice 05:02, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
Nope I found it there as well. It's really rare to find a Gilded Edge outside of GWEN, but it does occur. Hail and Kill! 15:21, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
Balthazar Concept Art[edit]
Has anyone else noticed in a concept art of Balthazar, his sword looks like a Gilded Edge? Especially the "cross shaped" cross-guard in the art. Patterson 03:53, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
