If it did I'm not surprised. The stones were pretty easy to solo farm in the preview; only took me an hour or so. I think ANet wants these to be a bit more difficult to obtain. --Valshia 17:30, 31 August 2007 (UTC)

Strongly wishing I had gotten them during the preview event because farming 100 of them doesn't interest me in the slightest. GG Grind Net. Diessa Chalice is like this, only it requires 50. I know it's a year or so between this and GW2, but I don't think high prices and low drop rates are really the best way to keep people playing. Oh well, I kind of like these, but not enough to grind to 100. All the epeeners out there who have these can just be that much more special. :D Genofreek

Other Gauntlets

I've seen on several pages: Magma Gauntlets or Gloves, but haven't come across them in game yet. I think they are called differently, they are called Destroyer Gauntlets and you can get them from a collector in the last town Central Transfer Chamber in exchange for 250 Destroyer Cores

Bug?

Gauntlets on mesmers end abruptly at the wrist. They don't go up the forearm. Is that intentional? --Redfeather 14:52, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

It took me 2 weeks to farm for these, so 100 stones is too much and I also tought that having them on would look better than the pics, well not much...

So a big let down in my point of view, asking for 50 stones and making them dyeable would have gone a long way in making me satisfied.

If we are to spend that much time collecting items for special armor stuff then at the very least they should be dyeable and so are all the special event hats.

I don't understand the need for some special items not to be dyeable. By doing this you are limiting our ways to enjoy the game.

The screen shot doesn't show what they look like on mesmers. Also that male screen shot is horrible. The lighting is horrible lighting for a screen shot. It would be great if someone could take a better picture for everyone else to see. Dancing Gnome 14:04, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
