Better never should have been implemented[edit]
The only thing these things now are used for is scamming...As the collectors trade 1:1, Yuletide Tonic should have been dropped directly instead of this imo. —ZerphaThe Improver 20:35, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
- it is more realistic that the ecto from the underworld is frozen than the grentchies and snow man has yultide tunics... --ismet 17:21, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
- Well candy cane shards dropping from any mob doesn't make much sense either. Same could go with any holiday mob-drop. --8765 20:36, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
- yes. due to the CC-shards, or other event-trophies that can drop from every foe (including Practice targets in the Isle of the Nameless dropping anything, or Chokolate Bunnies dropped by Varesh), i'd have liked this more. —ZerphaThe Improver 23:14, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
- Almost a year after; well, in case of Varesh, the "creature" is a chocolote bunny itself ^^. Ɲoɕʈɋɽɕɧ 01:32, 17 November 2008 (UTC)
- Well, now that they've added new tonics, they (ANet) should allow you to trade these in for the other Wintersday tonics imo. -- Gah 01:50, 22 December 2008 (UTC)
- This way, they'd actually have some use rather than just being Yuletide Tonics in a glob form. -- Gah 01:51, 22 December 2008 (UTC)

(reset indent) How about the idea of having a collector that swaps 250 Frozen Ecto for an Everlasting Yultide tonic, what does the community think of that as an idea? 04:14, 16 December 2009 (UTC)
- I don't like the idea. Getting all other everlasting tonics has a very strong element of chance to it (Or pure bad luck in my case when I got that darned cottontail thing in stead of my Gwen doll.) Making it tradeable for a stack of frozen ectoplasm would "devaluate" it into a guaranteed grind reward. 193.89.129.69 09:10, 16 December 2009 (UTC) <-- That's me btw. Silly computer didn't log me in this time. Manassas 09:12, 16 December 2009 (UTC)
- can u even trade them this year, i cant find the guys..~Nelson (n122333) File:N122333sig image.jpg
Any Tonic[edit]
I think they should turn into any of the level 2 tonics. That would give these a point. Instead of JUST Yuletide. So the tonic collector would have all sorts of options. --Barionic Hawkeye 23:41, 23 December 2009 (UTC)
- no some are exclusive, how about any wintersdays ones (Yuletide Frosty Grentch)~Nelson (n122333)
- I personally don't like wintersday tonics much. To common. I wish the zchest ones were makeable. I mean, they are just tonics. No mysterious or ELing. --Barionic Hawkeye 00:47, 26 December 2009 (UTC)
