Talk:Grawl Shaman (Vanguard quest)
Lower healing over time[edit]
I noticed something strange while trying to test the Healing Prayers and Divine Favor attributes of a level 8 shaman by engaging one-on-one and avoiding dealing damage except for controlled Banish and Bane Signet casts. While initially the grawl's Divine Favor appeared to be about 6 (Healing Breeze caused an initial heal of almost 20) and a single Orison of Healing almost completely healed a 49-damage Banish. After a few minutes of prolonged "combat" as I tried to narrow down these numbers, however, the grawl's direct healing became noticeably less potent; as I continue the fight while writing this, Orison of Healing has become completely ineffective, though its Smiting Prayers and the regeneration from Healing Breeze are unchanged. I believe I previously encountered a similar effect reducing the effect of a warrior grawl's Healing Signet.
It seems as if there's an anti-stalemate feature, possibly limited to pre-Searing, either reducing key attributes (Divine Favor and Tactics) or directly reducing healing in fights that last more than a few minutes. Is this a known mechanic? - Alexis Toran (talk) 17:21, 4 April 2023 (UTC)
