Talk:Guild Wars Trilogy
Extras[edit]
Can somebody who has this version confirm for sure whether or not those GotY weapons are included? The description in the NCSoft store doesn't mention it, even though it does mention the Fire Imp and Golem. 66.31.142.216 01:47, 29 November 2009 (UTC)
The Amazon product descriptions doesn't mention them either. Neither does the Gamestop.com description. In fact, the only place I've seen it is here. I would also like to know if it includes the bonus GOTY weapons.
- I was able to type /bonus and receive the following weapons: Nevermore Flatbow, Tiger's Roar, Wolf's Favor, Rhino's Charge, Luminescent Sceptor, Serrated Shield, and Soul Shrieker. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.188.168.147 (talk).
M.O.X.[edit]
Changed the information about M.O.X. in the Box contents section. The original text made it out like it was the same as the Fire Imp or some other ally creature. --Jack Faros 04:14, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
Access Key[edit]
Is the key single or seperate? My friend already has Prophecies, and he found the trilogy for a good price, but he doesn't know if it's in one key or not. Thanks
- It's a single key that unlocks all 3. -- Wyn 03:05, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
- So, if my friend already had Prophecies and added in the access key, would he still have an extra proph? i don't know, like give away or something?
- Maybe I should clarify. Like, since my friend already owns prophecies on his account, right. Then he wants to get nightfall and factions through the Trilogy, he'd still get nightfall and factions. BUT, would he still have an unused prophecies from the trilogy key? --Warnlord 03:16, 5 March 2009 (UTC) Sorry, forgot to mention that I'm the unsigned user, just created a new account.
- Nope. The new access key would be added to the old one, and both copies of prophecies would be tied to the account. There would be no extra copy to share.--Pyron Sy 03:28, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
- Okay, thanks for the info. --Warnlord 00:14, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
- This is incorrect. I had GW, GotY Edition (Prophecies) and I was given GW Trilogy as a gift. I tried to add the code from the Trilogy to my account and could not. The message on the screen said:

Campaigns you currently own: Guild Wars Prophecies
Add an Access Key to an Existing Account. Guild Wars Trilogy
- Access to the Guild Wars Trilogy campaign.
You cannot add this Access Key to this Guild Wars account because you will already have the rights this key provides. Please click the "Cancel" button and create a new Guild Wars account.
I can only purchase and add the individual campaigns to my existing account. So, you cannot use the Trilogy as an upgrade to an existing account. 98.67.47.222 23:55, 2 April 2010 (UTC)
- You did something wrong, because I did exactly what you said you couldn't. I had prophecies, purchased the trilogy, and added the key to my existing account. It did warn that I was duplicating Prophecies, but it worked just fine. Same thing happens if you later add a collector's edition key. -- FreedomBound 23:55, 2 April 2010 (UTC)
- Pardon the semi threadomancy, but I just had the same issue as the fellow above (98.67.47.222), and figured this extra confirmation might help others get through this without wanting to punch an innocent bystander. Despite the apparently definite wording of the notice saying "You cannot add this Access Key," you most certainly can. Just ignore the statement and click the "Add Key" button that'll be on the lower left of the screen. At this point, you'll get another popup detailing the overlapping aspects of your current account and the Trilogy, plus a list of the stuff that will be added, at which point you are prompted to type "Add" into a box in order to confirm the addition of the key, thus enabling Factions and Nightfall on your account. This very misleading process should have been cleaned up long ago. Also note, that though the second popup warns that you will not gain any other benefits than those listed on that popup, you will get your four extra character slots and your additional Xunlai Chest pane even though they're not actually listed. GWEN[edit]
Dumb question perhaps but I want to clarify - I want to buy the entire GW collection except for BMP (unless its free) for my friend. From what I can see, this edition does not include GWEN. Correct? If so, the best route would be to purchase the Trilogy then buy GW:EN from in-game store? – Barinthus 22:47, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
This edition doesnt include GWEN or the BMP, but it does give you M.O.X. and the Fire Imp summon. Then you can buy GWEN. Amazon.com is also holding a promotion until April 22nd: if you buy the Trilogy, you can get GWEN for free. (May depend on where you are) -Anon :3
- Note: Now it's also possible to have GWEN added to your Trilogy, through the holiday promotion (ends January 2010) :) —Faalagorn☎/✓ 09:34, 24 November 2009 (UTC).
Pricing[edit]
Can someone give me prices for the Trilogy when bought through the In-Game Store/NCSoft Store? From what I know it's 34.99EUR, or 24.99USD, but how about GBP, or any other currency? —Faalagorn☎/✓ 09:55, 24 November 2009 (UTC).
strange[edit]
hi everyone sorry to leave here this comment but i buy the trilogy edition and i noticed that is missing that quick reference card what do i do? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 201.173.252.29 (talk • contribs) at 03:44, 8 July 2011 (UTC).
- It isn't really that important, but is useful for things like attribute-points, skills etc. You can ask for a new one from the store you have got it from, but I'm not sure what else you can do, finally, please sign your comments by typing " - - ~ ~ ~ ~ " but without the spaces. Thanks. --78.149.84.60 18:05, 28 December 2011 (UTC)
