Which faction is supposed to own this, Luxon or Kurzick? In other words, when Factions just came out, what side owned the Harvest Temple? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Mrmango (talk).

The Emperor of Cantha used to pray for the blessing of the goddess Dwayna at the Kuan Jun Temple/Harvest Temple. See Harvest Ceremony. So I suppose it belongs to neither of the two. --Arduinna talk 18:28, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
At the begging No one trully owned it. But now it shifts dependent on some small things.
Technically it is in the Jade Sea, but I guess that would make it a neutral zone? ~ Chao 19:07, 8 April 2009 (UTC)

"Here the mighty dragon Kuunavang still lurks in the caverns beneath the temple" The in-game description says that there are caverns underneath the temple. Anyone know what might be in there? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 204.73.48.75 (talk).

I think there's an anomaly in the description. By the time any player can read this, Kuunavang is no longer corrupted.Itsmattknox 03:30, 22 September 2009 (UTC)

This outpost is Luxon imo. The skill trainer is Luxon aligned plus the outpost is in the Jade sea. - Reanimated X 19:11, 2 August 2009 (UTC)

it would be kurz if we the pvp shifted...but yea i think it should just be considered neutral because both kurz and lux are brought there after the missionAurenX 02:45, 9 January 2010 (UTC)

Temple Elevation[edit]

Where did that picture come from? In any case, if that is not a floating island, as it looks not to be, then we would have to assume the Unwaking waters are not a whirlpool but rather... I don't know what they are. It really doesn't make any sense. That would have put the water level at the time of the Jade Wind high enough to drown the temple... Alright, I just looked at the trailer. The temple looked nothing like it does in that picture and it appeared to be built on solid ground within a veil on the coast of the Echovald Forest. This is really messed up. Given all the inconsistencies already piling up, I'll just go ahead and assume that island in the picture is built on a floating platform. That's the most logical explanation I can come up with.--Shai Halud 21:14, 16 May 2010 (UTC)

Sure it's not tkane in the cutscene after Into the Whirlpool. I had always assumed during the jade wind it turned that area of the sea into a whirlpool then froze it Yay Killing Charr talk 21:58, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
Be more observant: "Previously the site of a floating temple known as Kuan Jun, the Harvest Temple, the Unwaking Waters is an immense, frozen whirlpool. When the Jade Winds passed over Cantha and Kuan Jun sunk beneath the ocean's surface, the whirlpool was formed, and like everything else in the path of the winds, became solid jade." Outposts' description. -- Konig/talk 23:57, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
To clarify, as the above post may turn out to be hostile sounding (unintentional if so), it isn't an island that we see it on. The picture is of it at the bottom of the sea and I would say that it was a floating landmass, possibly made flamboyant by magic. -- Konig/talk 00:01, 17 May 2010 (UTC)

Temple Name[edit]

Does anyone know where the name 'Kaoya Zun Temple' comes from? In both the Jade Wind article and this one, it is listed as such, but I can't find any reference to this name anywhere. However, the name 'Kuan Jun Temple' crops up a lot. Is Kaoya Zun a misspelling of Kuan Jun? Nym 08:22, 17 November 2010 (UTC)

I recalled one being mentioned in the Kurzick side, and the other being mentioned on the luxon side. I remember looking into it once, found nothing on the wiki, but found something in game. Musta forgot to put it up. I'll try to find it again. I don't think Kaoya Zun can be a mispelling of Kuan Jun. What's interesting is that wikia shows results for Kaoya Zun, mostly in relation to Kurzicks and, like I said prior, over on wikia Kuan Jun is linked to Luxon articles. -- Konig/talk 09:08, 17 November 2010 (UTC)
Hmm.. interesting. I'll try to run through the Kurzick side, and try and find any mention of Kaoya Zun Temple as well. Just searching it on the wiki now shows only three results for 'Kaoya Zun': this article, the Jade Wind one, and Saint Viktor. However, a search for 'Kuan Jun' yields more, and includes more articles that aren't a part of either faction, such as the dialogue from Sunjiang District, and even the in-game description for Unwaking Waters (Kurzick). While I agree that it's kind of a long shot for it to be a misspelling, Kuan Jun seems more like the 'official' spelling of the name. Nym 23:27, 17 November 2010 (UTC)
I think the easiest way to find it would be to find all Factions articles that are within the stub articles, look for missing dialogue, and go to see those dialogues in the game, as that is where it would be. the Category:Articles with incomplete dialogue and Category:Articles with stub sections would be the prime locations to search. -- Konig/talk 23:48, 17 November 2010 (UTC)
Finally found the source. It was wikia (now guildwiki.org): [1] Apparently Kuan Jun used to be Kaoya Zun in game. So Kaoya Zun is a historical name, akin to Khylo for Ascalon City (though now Khylo is used for something else). -- Konig/talk 17:24, 25 December 2010 (UTC)
