Talk:Ice Fort
Notes[edit]
i thought the skill is used out side of wintersday on summons.- Zesbeer 04:13, 14 December 2009 (UTC)
- But not by players. -~=Sparky (talk) 04:25, 14 December 2009 (UTC)
- so then the notation needs to be changed.- Zesbeer 04:34, 14 December 2009 (UTC)
IP-added note[edit]
What does it mean? It makes little sense to me, both grammatically and contentwise... I suggest a revert, unless someone thinks it is in fact a useful comment. Twam Valandil 94.209.65.245 18:16, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
Blocks KD?[edit]
This skill USED to block KD. I think it might block Avalanche, but I still get knocked down with Mega Snowball. Dargus 18:45, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
- While I haven't actually noticed being KD'd while fort'ed, I have found that having Snow Down the Shirt applied while fort'ed will allow attacks to interrupt you even though you aren't taking any damage--which is the criteria for the interrupt via SDtS. Perhaps effects are being considered independent of whether incoming damage is actually ultimately being applied. Though, if that were the case, you'd see the effects carried by other skills being applied, as well. Hmm...well, it could just be a bug isolated to a subset of snowball skill synergies, but something's definitely screwy somewhere. Kruhljak 14:36, 23 December 2010 (UTC)
- I can also verify, not that it matters in context, that you can be blinded (presumably via Blinding Snow) while fully fort'ed. Added: Yep, you can be crippled via Avalanche while fort'ed. Haven't yet been dazed, KD'd or diseased.... Kruhljak 10:41, 24 December 2010 (UTC)
NPC cheat! :)[edit]
Yep, NPCs frequently "cheat" by "carrying" their ice fort with them after they've visibly (as in "you can see them run a few steps") moved away from it. Good to keep in mind, since timing is important and skills like Hidden Rock and Yellow Snow will be wasted. If they only move a couple steps and stop while their fort still exists, it's probably still in effect. Kruhljak
